I present to your attention a small master class "Easter Chickens".

I absolutely did not plan to do something for Easter, but my loved ones were asked to make two chicks for a kid.

While I did them, recalled childhood and how the grandmother played with live chickens :) They are so fluffy, so cute! Commons of solid glamor!

The whole creative process was filmed and turned out to be a small master class. Perhaps someone from you will come in handy.

  1. We will need:

- foil;

- Polymer clay (beige and black, will also use unnecessary abandons of clay yellow shades);

- Wire;

- Yellow yarn or wool;

- brush;

- toothpick;

- PVA glue;

- varnish for polymer clay;

- Dry pastel (optional).

3. Wrap a blank of a polymer clay yellow or close to it, you can take a beige. For the purpose of saving the material used unnecessary cropping of clay yellow shades.

4. From the wire twist the legs: three fingers in front and one behind. We make a hole under the paws to the toothpick, insert the paws, check that the chicken is stable. If not, adjust the place of attachment of the paw and the angle of their tilt.

5. Warm the frame of the paw polymer clay of beige color, we leave the wire pure, it will be located inside the body.

6. We cut both paws, insert into the body. We once again check that the chick confidently stands on his feet.

7. We hold holes at the place of the eyes, insert black balls from clay there. If desired, you can make eyelids, putting a thin strip of yellow clay on top and bottom of the pupil.

From beige plastic Lepim the beak, we attach it to the body.

In this form, chicken is sent to the furnace. We bake according to the instructions on the package. I am a bake of 30 min. 120 degrees. I baked chicken standing on the paws with a foil stand around so that he did not fall.

8. While the chick is the crop, make a plumage for him. For the absence of the best used yellow yarn. Finely cut it, you can split the fibers slightly so that it turned out yellow fluff.

9. After the chicken is baked and cooled, we start working with the Pooh. We welt the PVA glue areas and glue the yellow fluff. No need to deceive the entire chick at once, make it a plot behind the site.

10. When the chicken is completely covered with Posh, leave it until the glue is completely drying. After that, remove the excess fluff if necessary in some places, add. After the chicks are sufficiently opened and dried, flush the fiber so that the textures of the threads are not visible.

11. To "revive" the chick a little, you can tone it with dry pastel. I toned around my paws, at the tail, on the trouser, around the eyes and beak.
