Once skirts with the assembly at the waist have already been in fashion and called Tatyanka. The difference between the modern fashion skirt in length and fabric: length is almost to the floor, fabrics are soft, well draped.
For sewing such a very simple skirt, chiffons are suitable, thin silk and knitwear, thin, embedded (cast) cotton fabrics, look very good in such a model pleated fabric.

1. For this skirt we need only three standards, waist girth, hips and a long skirt (in the finished form).
For the thighs of 100-105 cm, we sufficiently one length of the skirt + allowances with a width of the fabric 150 cm.
For wider thighs, we calculate so. Cooking hips + 1/3.
For example: thighs - 120 cm
120/3 * 2 = 80 cm
80 + about (120) = 200cm
2. Adjust the cuts and the edge to twice the folded fabric and the edge right on it.
Measure the width of the bending of the rubber band of about 7.5-8 cm.
Then the skirt length + 2 cm 2 cm. I have a meter, but it is possible and less on the height of 170 an average of 95 cm. But everything is individually.
Cut off.
If you have two lengths of the skirt, then cut off exactly the same length of the second piece of fabric.
Step seams overlock.
On the back of the fabric from the person, also reflect the width of the bending width for the gum (it is so convenient to bring to the type of typewriter).
We make a cut on the loop, for the entry of the gum and coach it.
On the cutting machine, we proceed the lower edge of the skirt and the top under the gum.
If not, it is pre-engaged by cuts that we laugh on the usual naming (bottom of the skirt for 2 cm, the top edge by 7.5-8 cm)
Roofing sections. We insert a gum for 1/3 less waist girth. And we carry with pleasure!
