The family bought the old ruined rustic school building and turned it into a surprisingly beautiful house for a large family and guests.
Our today's heroes - Marina and Maxim - bought the old rural school and redested it into a modern spacious country house. The couple took three years to get this site, and then two more years to equip.
"We traveled to this area for a few years," says Marina. "There is a very rich edge, many animals - even at the site often come hares or boars. And people here are interesting, friendly.
"Initially, we were going to buy a small village house, but did not come together with the owners in price," Maxim continues. - And once our friend says, they say, go, look at the other. We saw this school and immediately understood that this was our. Although so many times passed by, but they did not even know that there was some kind of building here, - everything was so overgrown.

The house was very old, all rotten. I had to fully raise it with large car jacks and change the lower crowns. "If you knew how much work had to be done, it would be easier to demolish and build a new one - already in the process of work, there were more and more flashes." Maxim has sacrificed the house, and then it was built it: "The house is large, it was hard, - The owner is recognized. - We really saved, do it yourself a lot. The roof is the usual slate, the platbands chose from cheap boards. If you look at, you can find many irregularities and shortcomings. But at the same time it is all so native that the other is not necessary. "

1st floor
Maxim was consulted with Marina about the new planning of the house, finishes, color solutions, but for the most part I did everything myself. I had to lift almost all the floors, rip off the walls and ceilings. They tried to leave the maximum what could be left, but almost everything was rotten and it was necessary to change.
There were in the house and four old stoves. They were completely disassembled and the first thing was laid out of the brick. He worked on them the whole family - children also participated, and even the parents of Marina and Maxim. From the remaining brick laid out the gate and a small cellar under the stairs, who dug out. "Maxim came home all dirty like a pipeline."
- At first, the mother asked to keep apples in the podberman, "says Marina," the mice quickly flew on the smell. Therefore, only canned foods are still stored there.
"The finish in the house tried to do the most cheap," says Maxim. - On the floor and walls - the usual cutting board, not planed and even dried. We manually put it with a planing. Cheaper does not happen. The outside was insulated with an emotory. However, with all the savings, heating, water supply and ventilation did high quality. Heating, for example, can be programmed: on weekdays it does not work, turns on on Friday after lunch and to our arrival in the evening it is warm, turns off on Monday in the morning.
The largest room on the first floor is a living room combined with a dining room. On the floor - the old board, which lay in the attic. "She has already been 50 years old, so it is very different, but very cool." Furniture almost all of IKEA, a lot was bought with large discounts on the sale.
- Here is only the table and chairs of the Bobruian furniture factory. They were produced for the Netherlands, and we took the remnants of the sale.
The fireplace was made of an open type: Maxim drew a sketch, and the Minsk Master made a grille on it. The accessories did not specifically bought: they transported something from the apartment, something gave friends, they brought something from travel.
Pictures in the house are predominantly children's drawings. Marina dreams that there were more works of Belarusian artists in the house, "but it is later."
"I still remember how our older daughter brought his first drawing from an art school," Maxim says with a smile. - It was some Majuki with a flowing bright purple drop. I ask: "What is it?" - And she answers: "Pumpo".
"Guests come very often to us," says Marina. - Already not remember such weekends that we would spend only family. As soon as he gets warm on the street, we take a barbecue, sun loungers on the terrace, plaid. In the evening, sometimes you are lying, you look at the stars - in the end you wake up at 4 am and you go to the house.
From the living room go to the spacious kitchen.
"The kitchen is my pride," says Maxim. "I myself did sketches, ordered her, the stone slabs chose." The big table also did, just that the oak countertop was ordered. The Russian stove was laid out from scratch - I developed the drawings, and then the children were decorated her.
The rest of the furniture in the kitchen is almost all of IKEA, only the table and chairs at the window, the oven - Italian. Hood homemade: "Inboard the built-in ready-made mechanism, and from outside Maxim did everything."
"Everything should be in the kitchen in mind," Maxim considers. - When you are preparing, everything you need should be at hand. Here, for example, I still do not know what I have in closed cabinets. I once shouted there something and forgot.
"Maxim prepares very well," says Marina. - Including in the stove: Bakes the bird entirely, makes Khachapuri, homemade cottage cheese, mozzarella, and once even baked bread. Isn't that the soups in the stove are not prepare - I will not buy cast iron.

On the ground floor there is a bedroom of Marina and Maxim, the office and guest bathroom with a hozblock.
In the bedroom - a small dressing room and a separate bathroom, in which a detached bathroom with legs will appear in the future.
"And I consider the washbasin," Maxim shares. - We just ordered a tabletop of slate, and everything else I did from ordinary Balyasin for stairs, which are sold at any construction market. They simply turn upside down - and they turn into the legs. If such a thing is ordered in the original, it is thousands of two will cost at least one!
Furniture in the bedroom is also from IKEA. Pictures - Children's creativity. And the icon gave the grandmother of Marina - she herself illuminated her in the Vilensky Cire, "So she is going with us."
As soon as the house was equipped, the family lived in it for two years. "But now the children have grown up: someone needs to be in the theatrical circle, someone in the pool, someone to the music school, and to the city to carry them all the same distant." Therefore, on weekdays, the family lives in the city, and on the weekend comes to the cottage.
When the family constantly lived in this house, Marina and Maxim often worked in the office. Now there is rather a warehouse - "It's all that interferes in other rooms is brought here. New Year's toys that did not leave yet. " Among other things, there are many books in the office - something bought something, something gave friends. Cards on the walls remained with the past work.
Guest bathroom on the first floor is designed for children - there is no toilet on the second floor. "There is a big shower cabin - girls can even wash. Yes, and the dog is comfortable to bathe. "
2nd floor
While we climb into the second floor, Maxim says that the planning of the house was thought out at the calculation that the children, when they grow, sooner or later leave and will be returned to visit here. Therefore, the first floor was done for themselves, and the second for girls. "We will live here after a while, and why do we constantly run on the second floor?"
On the second floor, which, by the way, was originally not at all, there are three rooms and a dressing room.
In one of the rooms there is a senior daughter Masha. The room was conceived as a guest, but the girl is already adult enough, and sometimes "she wants to retire." When guests arrive and staying sleeping, Masha goes to the nursery.
In this room, additional infrared heating, because there are no radiators. "But thanks to good warming is not cold here. Forens only use when a big frost and a strong wind - they quickly heat the room. "
The wardrobe on the second floor is more like a warehouse - besides personal items, skis and various equipment are stored there.
In the nursery for each girl there is a separate bed, a bedside table, lamp, a personal wardrobe. All furniture is also from IKEA.
"Since the second floor is a subcoase space, we ourselves collected an edible box and specially made niches for racks and cabinets so that they do not occupy space," says Marina.
The last room on the floor combines several functions: it is a game, and a room for lessons, and on occasion - additional guest.
"We always wanted to have a house outside the city," say Maxim and Marina. - I did not want children to grow too urban girls. Here they help us in everything, in 10 years they can already calmly regret the bonfire and flood the stove. Going for mushrooms and berries, know how to rinse strawberries. For us, in childhood, it was the norm, and now even not all adults know what mushrooms are, - for them it is wild.
We are not fanatics and do not force children to do something from under the stick, but they need to show a lot, give the necessary skills. And when they grow up, let them decide whether they need it or not.
