It is time for the holidays and vacations, there was more free time, I will spend it with benefit!
Today I will show you a promised master class in the speed assembly of the block. The master class is very light, any newcomer will cope with him.
Imagine that we are faced with the task: to sew a block consisting of triangles.
For example, I chose a patchwork block built on a grid 6x6.
What is a grid
The grid is that figure (raster mesh), which occurs a graphic building block. Almost all meshes are square, but at the heart of not all grids lies the square. Today it will be only about square nets.
Example of 3x3 mesh and blocks based on it:

Similarly, you can make mesh 2x2, 4x4, 5x5 and so on.
Returning to the topic, in my case the grid is 6x6.
I made a sketch of the block on miliethumen paper in full size, for the convenience of understanding painted it.
Close to the drawing (the drawing of the full block has not fit a little on the millimeter, I hope it does not hurt you), how many triangles did you count?
I got 64 triangles and 4 squares. The triangles form small squares, from which a whole patchwork block is built on a given grid.
You just imagine, you need to carve 64 small triangles! Easy task for patchwork maniac, but do not forget that one side of the triangle will be carved by oblique, and accordingly, when sewing can be distorted block. We don't need it at all!
To avoid this and twice the task, we will collect a high-speed assembly of squares.
On the sketch, drawn in advance, measuring the side of the triangle. Next, we build two triangles in parallel to each other, we add an allowance from all sides (I have a snack of a foot - 6 mm), it turns out a square.
I got used to all the details to transfer to the templates, then we remove them into the box along with the sketch, at the right moment, I get out and I use again. Paper and cardboard templates with time spin on the edges and distort the cut.
By template we cut the squares from the fabric (count the number of desired colors yourself), from 2 whole squares you will have 2 squares consisting of triangles.
We fold the squares of different color face side to each other, carry a diagonal marker.
We sew the squares on the battered diagonal, retreating the magnitude of the allowance, in both directions.
That's what happened:
Now cut the squares diagonally.
We get squares consisting of triangles. We have breakdown, cut extra tails.
We fold the block.
We sew the squares into horizontal stripes.
Then we sew the strips among themselves, the block is ready!
To secure another picture traveled: the whole master class on one photo, it can be copied to yourself and use as a crib :)
This unit has become the beginning of a large patchwork "Red Gorka".
