Have you ever paid attention to what beautiful openwork shadows give the simplest plants? Not roses and lilies, but ordinary weeds?
So I did not pay. And when I saw - I immediately wanted to do something with them. Well, here I am a person - I can't just admire or take a picture, I need to remake everything and adapt to myself. And immediately and quickly, not yet cooled.
I looked in the courtyard the wonderful thistle, grew on the lawn just like a soliter plant. I would regret it, but our lawns are kidding often and tastefully, so he would definitely hit the nearest mower. Therefore, everything is as usual - a dark evening and I am in the courtyard with a knife in my hands. And with a towel, so as not to bite himself, otherwise it will not get to him. And then - a few hours of pleasure.
He showed the result acquaintances, and they asked to make MK. I am not difficult, I will be glad if it is useful!
Only thisthers ended, there were innocent weeds, and I will show them.
So, we will need:
- The basis is a tree, MDF, yes, anything!, while it is preferably flat (on the relief I will try again and I will have happened)
- The lamp is best of the clothespin, so that the light direction can be adjusted and what can be attached (stepladder, chair, etc.)
- Putty - I love latex based on Country PVA - it has a good smooth texture of pasta, no bubbles and inclusions
- white soil or any acrylic white paint - I have left from repair, so she went into the case
- An empty tube with a spout (I have recently adapted to buy chlorhexidine in the pharmacy, the tube is suitable and costs 12 p., You can use as a disposable capacity)
- Brushes, simple pencil, skin.
- For "finish" - paints of any colors (optional), varnish or wax.
- Plants - if you do not know exactly what you want, it is better to gain different and more, never guess that "shoot"
To begin with, we prepare the basis.
I took a sheet of MDF with the ready-made frame. The sheet must be primed - for this I mixed the putty with a white acrylic soil, approximately 1: 1 and covered the surface with this composition. Mixed in order to use the best qualities and of the other composition: acrylic plastic and does not crack when deforming the base, like a putty, and putty gives the necessary roughness, it is easy to draw a pencil on it. Of course, there are other ways to prepare the foundation and other special materials, but I didn't have them at hand, but I had to urgently!)))))) This is "urgently" with me for a long time and constantly, so the method is proven - nothing fall off and does not crack.
Brush or spatula can be used. It is not necessary to "lick" the soil smoothly smoothly, you can vice versa to impose it with a Christmas tree in different directions. This will give the future background additional volume.
Seeing the basis - I am not an amateur to speed up this process, so it will dry by its own way.
After Poni drying, we take place on the eye, smoothing particularly outstanding places, leveling the background, but not shining completely texture.
The preparatory stage of the work is completed. Now we are waiting for the evening or scored in the darker corner of the house. Native and loved ones who drive out, so as not to interfere with "creativity." You can leave the dog - she will tell anyone anyone.
It is necessary to vertically establish the foundation, to place plants in a short distance. You can simply stick to the jar with water, or fasten somehow otherwise. I use a piece of plasticine - sticking the stem in the desired order, everything is well held and takes the necessary poses. If anything is easy to rearrange, add or remove.
On the contrary to install a stand with a lamp. Play the lamp with a slope - different directions of light will give different results. Shadow will be thick and clearer or thinner and blurred. Just twist with a lamp in the hands around the "bouquet", watch the shadow game. Having liked the result "Secure" - pinch the lamp in this place. Please note that the light beating above the target gives the best result.
Now sit down next to the side and begin the pencil to circulate the shadow.
This is the convenient plasticine - from it as you can remove plants, freeing the approach to the next. So, gradually, the entire composition is drawn on the basis.
Now you can disassemble the light design, remove the traces of "quest" (remove the entire vegetable garbage from the floor) and start drawing plants. It is necessary to "disassemble" the drawing on the layers - that in the distant plan. What is ahead - leaflets to outline, fix the contours of the stems, etc.
When you finish, you can safely invite the relatives and, putting a bouquet in front of you, boldly assure the artist: bring the last strokes "from nature".
Next should be applied to the drawing putty. To do this, refuel it into a tube with a spout. If the putty is too softened, it can be slightly diluted with white soil. But not very liquid, otherwise it will begin to flow and will not hold the form. If only good the tube squeezed out of the nose. Soring the thinnest places toothpick.
First cover the back plan and stem. The leaves in the background can be not entirely covered with a putty, but as if openly. With skipping. They will not be clear. As in the foreground and darker after tinting.
Now fill the entire foreground - putty put it higher, more.
We leave everything to dry. I again, I do everything without a hair dryer, drying will take a couple of hours, depending on the thickness of the putty layer.
Further is a matter of taste! Work must be painted depending on what technique will apply and what color panel you want to get. If there is a white image with sharp shadows - color with white soil. It will be like this:
You can apply one pastel color or several with transitions, you can make color polychrome, you can paint in dark and apply silver, gold or bronze elements, you can also portray old or something else. Ways and colors - the sea! I needed to make a gray panel from my thistle.
I painted everything with gray paint, and the convex elements toned lighter, walking on them with a dry bristing brush with a small amount of paint.
The frame painted the same bright paint as the tone applied, covered with one layer of varnish so that not very glittered. And the panel itself covered with colorless wax and grazed it.
