Once, turning through things in the old suitcase, my mother and I found a few of her needlework, which she did in his youth.
Several decorative pads decorated the interior of our cottage.
But this track somehow did not find her worthy place.
Mom embroidered this path when he was a student. I am generally surprised, as 10 years after the war, could you buy (or get it?) Muline threads in such a big color scheme?
... But when moms did not become with us, I decided to fix this embroidery in the barn frame and under the glass. But the girl-welcoming girl told me that it was the old embroidery of the master-baguetchik that was not taken to do and explained to me why.
The fact is that the fabric must be tightened to the cardboard, and the old fabric may not withstand such stresses and can just crack and break.
Yes, they were right! Remember, with what ease the old sheets of cotton fabric are rushes - just like paper!
I have long in my head born all sorts of options - how to enter this path in the interior, while carefully maintaining from external influences.
And finally, the idea gained specifics! I decided to fix the embroidery in the baguette frame.
But it will be a textile frame!
And that's how I did it.
My master class is dedicated not to cut and sew, but the logic of framing and protect the old and very expensive things for me.
So. Here is this track:
Fabric - white, cotton. Large flowers embroidered with a cross, there are no traces of the pencil circuit on it. Apparently, the mother sewed on the canvas, which, after the end of the embroidery, can be deleted.
Embroidery - in excellent condition, colors - bright, juicy, not burnt! But the tissue of the track - goes Faldami, does not lie in the plane. Because embroidery caught the fabric plane. In general, I would like to get clinic to the horizontal plane as much as possible.
Here Materials that I used (I pay attention: all materials were in my reserve, I did not buy anything specifically for the manufacture of this product!):
- An old path embroidered with a cross.
- Cut "Bortovka" - hard tissue with impregnation.
- Piece of flaslin.
- Slices of decorative interior fabrics (once bought a package of trimming in the interior decor).
- Strip Sint. Organza, which remained at me after sewing the curtains.
- Shedstencut with syntheps.
- Threads, needles, scissors.
- Watman sheet.
- Sewing machine.
I needed to fulfill the following things.
1. Embroidery should not test voltages and loads.
2. The cloth of the tracks with embroidery needs to be as much as possible in the plane, reduce the falds, ruffles, bubbles.
3. The embroidery itself must be protected from discoloration from sunlight and from household dust.
4. This product may be "double destination" - Walkway on the table or panel on the wall.
I didn't have a clear pattern and plan, I knew that the texture of materials would tell me the right decision.
Started.
We plant a path to flazeline with the help of iron, but not smoothing, but as if we press it on top.
A little bit alone.
Then the path with flazelin put on the bortovka.
And then my Barsik came. He is very interested in this project.
At first everything was calm.
But when he decided to take an active part, I had to strongly remove it to a safe distance.
And when I already worked with Organza - such an assistant was cut off access to the product. There were, of course, resentment ...
But, he guy is kind, disposable, contemplated the process at a safe distance.
Then manually sew the track to the bornery.
And then - throughout the plane with small stitches, sew the track to the rigid basement.
Well now it is reliable to the hard layer and less approached the plane.
Now we need to decide on the window of our picture. To do this, we make the necessary measurements and a template from the Watman sheet.

Now, on top, I have to sew organza. What for?
First, the flowers are very bright and wanted to slightly muffle them, as if haze or glass, painted frosty frost ...
In addition, jacquard drawing Organza, a glare, the iridescent gave a completely unexpected visual effect! And her slightly cream hue softened the white fabric path.
So, unfortunately, the camera does not transmit this effect, but, on the contrary, the glare of reflective light is visible in the photo.
Embroidery seems completely flexible, but it is not! In fact, this is a reflection of the brilliant surface of the organza seen in the photo!
Secondly, the organza will protect the vintage thread from fading from sunlight, especially in summer!
Thirdly, if I succeed My track-picture It is very easy to smell dust with a smooth surface!
A piece of organza turned out to be very narrow, brought literally bitch! And pulled out a typewriter.
By the way, it is necessary to sew (manually or on a typewriter) from the middle of the long side to the edges so that the seam does not pull the cloth in one direction.
Now go to the frame itself.
You see that uneven and unequal edges remain outside the "windows" of the paintings. And it can be seen on the overlying layers when smoothing.
But I basically did not want to cut anything from this track and save it as an original form as much as possible!
Therefore, the Fabric "Rama" I decided to put on a cloth with a synthetic tube. This will give a small volume and hides the irregularities of the underlying layers.
In addition to the frame, I made a passport.
The fact is that the decorative fabric (trimming from the sewing of the curtains), which I have bought in the cabin, bilateral. Good and facial and auto side!
Since I have a lot of muffled blue in the interior, then this SIZO-Dark blue shade is very suitable for me. In addition, these small jacquard splashes in the form of a mesh are very helpful in Crane!
At first I decided to make a clip from the wrong side of the fabric so that there was no strong color contrast.
After sewing on the typewriter and smoothing the strip of the fabric manually sewn the strip of quilted fabric with a syntheps to the border.
All allements, the edges of the resulting frame are sewn by hand to the bortovka - the fabric stretches so smaller and deforms.
Exactly according to the same principle, we already perform the "frame" itself from the front fabric, putting the tapes of the lining fabric with a synthetic tube.
White mark limited the size of the frame. Strict seam on it on the typewriter, again - from the middle to the edges.
After that, almost "under the root" cut off the unnecessary residues of the synthetone.
Now the edges of the fabric on the seam threaten on the wrong side, we stick to the frame around the edge and take the commercially boring.
As you can see, the torn and bubble movements in the fabric are still still saved, besides, the typewriting also begins to stretch or pull the fabric.
But I disappeared with an offense, it seems better.
Now it remains to close it all. And make sides on short sides.
After all, I expect that this thing I can hang on the wall, and the fastening system will be two rods - at the top and bottom.
To the top rod, I will give a decorative cord and hang panel as a pennant - on the carnation.
And below the rod will be a sleeve.
But I need to buy it in a construction store. And about it will look like this.
Well, my finished interior product can be used both as a track on the table.
Of course, not everything turned out perfectly, not all folds disappeared (and new ones appeared from the machine line), but this thing will be carefully stored and framing the embroidery, which my mother did in youth ...
