Drilling:
- Mark the place of drilling hole;
- Place a stone into water and start drilling, to hold the drill in a predetermined direction of drilling hole;
- After the drill came into a stone by 1-2 millimeter, the rotational cone movement of the engraver can be applied, such a reception speeds up drilling, but will increase the diameter of the opening. It can be used if the accuracy of the opening is not fundamental. When you need to drill a deaf opening in a mineral, this reception of drilling is not used;
- Drill a stone to the middle, after start drilling towards the other side. It is necessary to be attentive when the junction with the oncoming hole is closed, so as not to get injured and damage the drill and stone;
- make chamfer (remove sharp edges on the holes so as not to damage the cord).
