Today I will tell you about creating a small removable collar - from the sketch to the finished product.
As the basis of the motifs of the collar sketch, which will be discussed, take a collar made in the technique of Vologda lace. As I said earlier, if you are not an artist and the appropriate scheme at the UAS, but I still want to create, you can use sketches, chips or photos of products from Vologda or Yeletsky Lace.
From the yarn "Pekhorka Openwork" white (it will take 1 module for all the product) I tied about 6 meters of Crawler cord with crochet number 2. Since the yarn is 100% cotton, then the cord is better to draw (wet in warm water, drown on the towel and sip the iron).
Securing the working circuit of the collar on a rigid basis, evenly pinned the finished cord along the contour by tailor pins with round heads. This method speeds up the work, but requires attention to not to overload the work when filling the gaps.
After the cord is fixed, the remaining thread tails can be used to stitch the cord among themselves and filling the gaps when these tails are long enough, and the ends hide in the cord. To fill the gaps, I chose a simple Russian seam and seams based on it. In most literature on the Romanian lace, they write that you first need to sew among themselves all sections of the cord, where it comes into contacts and connects to each other, and then fill out the intervals. But I prefer to work in parallel, so the thread transitions on the cord are much smaller and therefore excess thickens.
In this particular collar after the tails are hidden, you can continue to work from any place (left, right, middle). I chose the left side and moved sequentially.
After all the intervals were filled, I removed the collar, stretched, dried on a towel on a flat surface and squeezed, jokes with pins to an ironing table, stretching on the working circuit. Left in a stretched position until the product is completely cooling and drying.
Then he made a woven button of the knitted cord and sewed it into the right place, and the loop for it was formed during the work. Button can be sewn and factory at your discretion. The main thing is that it is suitable diameter.
Everything. Collar ready.
This detail of the wardrobe is quite universal. You can fix on the neck of the dresses, blouses, etc. Or wear like a necklace, especially if you do strictly under the throat. In any case, such things do not lose their value over time, so it is enough to spend a few days, and you will get a unique thing. Try yourself - and everything will turn out.
