A few years ago I was inspired by one, very short video. In which a person makes a small boat from recycled bottles.
Regardless of where I watched, I could not come up with any instructions on how to do myself, so I had to make my own raft without any special instructions. I decided that I would do a big raft.
This is a really interesting way to recycle and dispose of these annoying plastic bottles for drinks, which is always lying on the sidewalks and the streets of the city.
As an additional bonus, it is somehow recycling!
A boat. I did a boat reminiscent kayak (kayak) with an open top. Its dimensions are approximately 1.5 x 3.5 meters and weigh about 50 kg. Since the caps of the bottles are twisted firmly, they perfectly keep me afloat, even if they are filled with water. It is ideal for a calm stroy of water, and it is amazingly durable, but I would not advise anyone, even try to swim with him on small thresholds.
Materials for the manufacture of plastic bottles boat
You will need only 3 things:
- Plastic bottles with lids , tightly twisted (about 270). I used bottles from under the same drink, because they have excellent relief as well as size, and in the end there will be a robust design.
- Glue . I used liquid nails (polyurethane glue). Perhaps there are best options.
- Adhesive pistol.
