These stunning multi-colored balls are sewn by a 92-year-old grandmother from Japan.
Ancient Japanese art is called "Tamari". When it originated, braided multicolored balls became just toys for young children. Over time, they changed several applications, until they became an element of interior decoration. Today, each of the regions of Japan has its own characteristic colors and ornaments.
Mrs. Akou met the art of creating Tamari in the early sixties. Since then, she has managed to create about five hundred incredibly beautiful balls with a unique design.

The process of creating Tamari is very laborious. In order to embroider one ball of little talent, you need to have the years of preparation and a huge amount of time.
