Decoupage is one of the simplest decoration techniques. Make something stylish with it may even beginner. Try renovating the old bedside table. For work you will need:
- table or bedside table;
- White and beige paint for wood;
- paper tape;
- glue for decoupage;
- Sheet of silk paper embossed;
- cream-colored cord (from 1 m);
- wide brush;
- narrow brush;
- stationery knife;
- Pistol with glue;
- toothpick.
Step 1. Clean the table from the old paint. Decide which parts will be painted in a beige color, and which in white. Color the desired fragments of beige paint, let dry. Color the remaining surfaces with white paint, pre-protecting the adjacent parts with paper scotch. Use the need to wide and narrow brushes. Let dry, remove the tape. Lubricate the surface of the table with glue to decoupage, apply silk paper and neatly smooth, pressing from the center of the table to the edges. Press the surface with glue and let dry. | |
