I needed four pieces of candles to fill out our Japanese candlestick-box. And, while I did them, I filmed a photo on a whole master class.

So, in order to make a real candle in the shell, we will need: a large shell and a candle (it is better to take unnecessary spars). If you use pieces of stearin, cut from the candles, i.e. Without a wick, you will need another rope to do it. I used the chips of the candles, so the wick took it ready straight from them. We still need two toothpicks and two gum.

1. We drip several wax droplets on a saucer and fix our shell on it - so as not to swing while working. If the shell is stable, then this item can be skipped.

2. In a small container, put the candle and calm it in a water bath. As a container, I used a tin container remaining from the caught conventional candle-tablet. And candles for smelting took those that remain after the name of the cakes. We still have a whole box of Soviet anniversary remained, from our children's holidays :)

Candles must completely melt

3. When the candle is melting, neatly toothpick remove from the resulting liquid phytyl. This wick cut off to the desired length - a little longer than the height of the shell. After that, it will be necessary to consolidate its tip between the toothpicks, and install this construction on the shell so that the wick is located in the middle, its lower end touch the bottom, and the top spoke to several millimeters above the upper edge of the shell.

And insert it into the future candle

4. Heat stearin again in the container to the liquid state and carefully pour it into the shell.

We are waiting for the candle to freeze

5. Wait until Stearin in the shell freezes, and remove the toothpick from the wick. All is ready.

The shell can be lit as a simple candle.
