Making a mosaic bottle

I will show how to make a mosaic bottle of polymer clay and low-temperature enamel.

So, we will need:

1. Glass bottle, well washed and low-fat. Usually, I take off the labels, briefly soaked, and remove the paper and glue to remove the lacquer fluid.

2. Polymer clay, 2 bar for 57 gr. At first there was an idea to make the bottom of the light green - the grass, and the top of the blue - the sky, but in the process I changed my mind and did everything on a gray-green clay.

3. Low-temperature enamel, all colors, as in the photo, except burgundy, which also shared in the process.

4. Foil.

5. Baking oven.

polymer clay

First, fed a low-temperature enamel on foil, it needs to be done as evenly possible. The layer should not be very subtle, otherwise the fragments will be hard to remove from the foil and they will reveal.

Low-temperature enamel

We bake for 10 minutes at a temperature of 125 C. It is impossible to use the microwave. Only the stove in which the polymer clay is usually baked.

We take out from the stove, cool, 5 minutes everything. Enamel becomes very glossy and solid.

We break it on the fragments and remove from foil, it is better that the fragments are more, then it is more convenient to calm pieces of the desired form.

Polymer clay modeling

Then we knew the polymer clay, in small fragments, we dress the bottle and fill in the mosaic. It is not worth it with a whole bottle of time, as a plasticizer and fragments will be disappeared from the polymer clay, especially small sticks badly.

I baked, too, in parts, first, when you twist the bottle, the unspecified part can be lubricated. Secondly, if you can not allow yourself to sit 5-6 hours behind the needlework, you can divide the process for several days, nothing happens to the baked part, and you carefully continue to work from any place. This is a fragment before baking.

This is after:

Between fragments, you need to leave minimal gaps, if there are no, enamel is solved.

We continue until you fill the bottle entirely.

In the oven during repeated baking, low-temperature enamel becomes soft again, that is, to lean it with something or put on the enamel side and so on, it is impossible, so I left the bottom glass, and in the last baking a bottle put a bottle on the bottom, and not put on the side, as at first.

All is ready:

Now in the process another bottle with orchids. Here is a fragmentik :)
