For the manufacture of the tubes, I use a newspaper, a stationery knife, a knitting needle, PVA glue.
A newspaper sheet bending in half along, cutting the stationery knife. Once again bending the obtained bands, cutting. From one newspaper leaf I get 4 strips. I take the knob number 1 for small products or from №4 №4 for products more larger, I apply to the corner of the strip at an angle of 20º - 30º, I begin to twist the tube by rotational movements, holding the edge. Somewhere on the half of the tube, I remove the needles, chewing, pulling the edge of the plow glue.
Practice shows that it is more convenient to weave from newspaper tubes with different thickness in length. Therefore, in the process of twisting, I try not to align, but on the contrary, to expand or narrow the end of the newspaper tubule. Then, in the process of weaving, they are convenient to build up, inserting each other.
If the newspaper tube came out uniform in length, not trouble, I use it then for the manufacture of wall panels, where uniformity gives the work accuracy, or when building it simply flatten the edge of 1-1.5 cm, bend in half. Thus, the narrowed edge is easily inserted into the previous newspaper tube. In one hour I twist up to 150 newspaper tubes. Increasing newspaper tubes, I do not use glue. I try to weaken with newspaper tubes, I try to save the gap from 2 to 3 cm, then the glue is not needed. Even on the contrary, the use of glue can soften the joint, and this will already be a "weak place" of the product.
When twisting the tubes noted that long newspaper tubes are expanding at the end of twisting. And short, from a sheet of A4 format, on the contrary, it is easier to narrow at the end of twisting.
Considering that the paper is softer and plastic vines, I try after refueling the newspaper tubes at the end of weaving at any kind of bends to still strengthen the product, covering the PVA glue to the end of each newspaper tube, where it adjacent to the product, gluing it in this way. Leave for the night, and the next day you can continue the finish.
