Watch "Vienna Waltz"

The impetus for the creation of this work was that, at the same time, this billet and stencils with a climet tree got into my hands. They somehow immediately requested in one company. And somehow everything began to take shape: there was a long rice paper with notes (Klimt - it is Vienna, and Vienna is a waltz, and Waltz are notes), a model mass of the golden, not used from the date of purchase, appeared from the day; Suddenly there were lost small hour clocks ... It sometimes happens, it's amazing!

So, I will list the materials: plywood blank. Clock mechanism, rice paper, model mass, potal and glue for it, gold paint, varnish.

At first there was a regular decoupage: a blank and rice paper with notes instead of a crown, projected by white soil. All other surfaces were painted by Umbra.

Birds and the end of the stand was covered by Pattolia (for this, first applied milk for Potali, he drove it in 15 minutes and stuck the sheets sweat). On top Umbra, I sponed a little gold acrylic. I decided to apply the crumb of Potali remaining from gilding.

Now the skill of the stencil. Before applying it, I all without exception covered with varnish. I decided to first try to make an imprint on the stencil on the back side to make sure that the tree, although it does not fit completely, but it looks quite harmonious. And you know, I liked what happened!

It was possible to start the front side, but here I already used the bulk gold mass.

Then I wanted a little complicate the color of the trunk and branches of the tree. After the model mass is well dried, I left again stencil (he needed me to not be painted the rest of the crown) and the contour of the volumetric silhouette of the paint "old gold". And after that, all the ends of the workpiece, including the stand, slightly darkened Umbra.

After that, it remained only to insert the clock mechanism and put the arrows on it.

Well, while I did all this, I got a slight addition to the clock in the form of a magnet-frame for a photo!
