Do you have to keep bedding or other things? For these purposes, you can use conventional wooden chest boxes. In this article we will tell how to make a storage box with your own hands. Such a simple piece of furniture to gather is very simple, besides, its appearance can be adjusted to almost any interior.
Materials and tools:
- 5 rectangular blanks of 6-mm plywood (2 rectangles 55 × 40 cm, 2 rectangle 40 × 35 cm, one rectangle 55 × 35 cm)
- 30-40 nails
- carbon black
- a hammer
- Paint, Paint Scotch, Tassel
- 4 swivel wheels
- 4 color cuts with a thickness of about 40 mm. The size of the blanks is slightly greater than the base of the wheels
- 16 Screws
How to make a storage box
From the sheet of plywood, cut the blanks of the desired size. Treat the faces and surface with emery paper. Make a box of rectangular blanks with a size of 55 × 40 and 40 × 35 cm. Try to face the face to be strictly perpendicular to. To connect the walls, use carpentry and nails. Fix the bottom, in our case, this is a rectangular billet 55 × 35 cm. If the bottom does not become clear, keep it with sizes and shape with grinders, hacksaws or a planer.
Tip: In this project it is better to use quick-drying joinery glue.
As a result, you should get a simple box. Collect all the corners, and then paint the box. Colors and patterns pick up at your discretion.
When the paint dries, stick to the bottom of the box and lock the four wooden rectangles with nails. Then we screw the swivel wheels to these rectangles.
