But do you know that origami is not quite a Japanese invention? In the ancient Japanese origami, the chopped or marked paper was used, and for the first time this technique was mentioned in the poem of 1680. In Europe, 100 years later, the German teacher Friedrich Friebel explained the children's ordinary geometry rules by folding paper. In the 1860s, this technique was adopted by the Japanese and became the basis of origami.
