Today we are a sap dress from the D & G collection. So looks like a dress on the podium. This model is distinguished by classic cathro and original colors. In one of the fabric stores, I found a fabric from D & G and immediately decided to sew this unique dress.
For sewing dresses, we will need:
- Main material 1.5 m;
- adhesive material, or knitted oblique bay;
- Pattern on A4 sheets;
- Lightning completed 50 cm on x / s-based;
- Black material for edible edge 0.2m;
- Threads 4pcs.
- How to make an accurate pattern?
In the process of sewing, the RedCafe program helped me very much, the pattern was built in it. Now I will tell you how to easily and just build patterns, even if you do not know how to do it. Personally, I initially attracted the opportunity to print the finished leaf quickly. I made a set of time on the program for an individual tailoring and in most cases the pattern sits well, so I recommend this program to beginners.
So, let's start with the construction of the pattern, as I said, you can build a pattern, even if you do it for the first time. Run the Redcafe program, select the "Base Products" tab, then click the "Base" button, then the starting base and "Wives: Dress". We enter your dimension figures and get the finished pattern! Next, we build an allowance. You can save patterns in PDF format and then print, the program interface is intuitive, but if you are confused, write in the comment. I will answer everyone.
Our drawing must be glued along the grid lines, carefully combining the angular marks. Then cut the pattern itself. And now we will change and simulate the pattern.
It is very easy to warm up or transfer the outtage into a horizontal, for this, you will spend the horizontal line from the ditching center to the side seam, now we can cut the lines and reveal the outlet in the side seam, closing the shoulder. Compare our measurements with a pattern and remove the extra injury on the thighs and make it a line of feeding finishes on the bottom of the dress and sleeves. 2. How to cut the product correctly?
Upon closer examination, our fabric is somewhat different from the picture, so we will need to add black inserts as a finish on the bottom of the product. Natural fabrics have an embossed property with wet-thermal processing, so we move the cloth with a steam generator.

3. How to prepare a dress for fitting?

It is necessary to carry out the fitting of our product and make adjustments before sewing, for the best landing. I make a line with white threads as the line is temporary and then I will remove it and scribbling with black threads, so the white line is made by large stitches to make it easier to pull it out.
In my arsenal, the beloved sewing machine Pfaff, I recommend this brand, which I have been using for more than 5 years and it was only once repaired and Coverlock Marilok 007 which is also more than 5 years old, but it has been repaired many times and now works successfully.
The shelf and the back are ready, now connect them along the side and shoulder seams as a temporary line, by the way, in order to easily pull the thread in the future, you need to maximize the tension of the upper thread. Next, we connect the sleeve with a black finishing strip, now we need to form a landing at OKATU, for this we collect from the back of two threads with large stitches and tighten the threads for the formation of assembly. Ideal OKAT need to be formed with wet-thermal processing, a convex assembly in Ocape, so we have a convex part of OKAT. Sleeve after processing we connect along the side seam and wind up the sleeve in the armored side, you can also on the machine. In order to carry out the fitting, it remains only to hold the lightning and connect the middle seam of the back to zipper, do it.
4. How to spend fitting?
It is quite simple to carry out the product, for this we put the product and remove everything too much, in my case it is the thigh line, we will assume that I have lost weight since the last measurements :) We repeatedly temper on the side seam and other seams of excess fabric, it is most convenient to do it with twisted. on the wrong out of the product. In my case, the length also has been changed.
So, we scroll over the needles and now draw a new thigh line on the lecturer and in the lineup, I want to note that you need to remove a little less than we outlined, because when you are drunk, we take a little more surplus than you need and there is a risk in the end too much product. 5. How to sew a product after fitting?
Once again, and if everything is good, you can connect a constant line, for this we sew next to the pumping line at a distance of 1mm from it and only after that stretch the white thread. Steadmate, sew finish, prepare a separate shelf, back and sleeve, then clean the feeding of the finish, now you need to carry out wet-thermal processing, that is, the curtains come down, forming bulges in the chest area. Then stepping the details on the side seams.
The sleeve should succeed with such an acurate fad. We process the suture of the sleeves and the bottom on the overlock and perform the finishing line at the bottom. We feed the sleeve to the main product.
Instead of the neckclosure, we use knitted oblique boobs - it is an easy and fast way to treat the edge.
