I bring to your attention a master class: how to turn ordinary cardboard and ordinary paper in cardboard and designer paper. The method of which will be discussed, has not yet been covered in RuNet.
It is so simple, elegant and effective with minimal material and time costs, which is definitely worth continuing the master classes. Moreover, we will not slow down the resulting result and make wonderful gift boxes.
So, proceed, friends. For the intended transformation, we will need:
- ordinary white cardboard for children's creativity,
- decorative napkin,
- Food film,
- scissors,
- Marley,
- Iron.
The basis of the idea is a type of decoupage known as Napkin technique : The top layer of a three-layer decorative napkin is glued to the surface of the cardboard, but instead of the traditional glue, a food film is used, which is melted when heated and perfectly fastens the connected materials. Created in this way Designer cardboard (or Designer paper ) Perfectly retains its mechanical properties, while moving in a completely new quality.
Show all the process in steps.
1. The chosen napkin must be pre-thoroughly in the iron to remove the folds (if the possibilities of the iron can be allowed, if necessary, it is possible to quarrel with steam napkin)
2. After that, we separate the top layer with the drawing at the napkin
3. On the cardboard sheet, it is an alternately food film, a napkin and gauze
4. Carefully and slowly stroke all this with an iron. It is not worth the temperature. I put the regulator to the "Cotton" position, and was just right. Special attention should be paid to the corners and edges, where iron is desirable to hold a few seconds.
5. Mock the cardboard and cut the excess film and napkin with scissors. Perhaps it turns out that at the corners the napkin snapped badly. It does not matter - this flaw will be eliminated at the next stage.
6. Again, stroke the iron cardboard with facial and invalible side
As a result, it turns out a one-piece sheet of cardboard with a beautiful pattern and pleasant to the touch texture.
And everything went to everything about 10 minutes.
With such napkin equipment, you can also make colorful Designer paper From ordinary office paper, white or color.
But if we talk about cardboard, then the best result is achieved when using high density photographic paper.
The photo below shows 2 sheets of cardboard, decorated with decaptentional ways. One (left) is made on the basis of ordinary cardboard for children's creativity, the other (right) - on the basis of matte photographic paper Lomond density of 230 g / m² (the density is approximately the same as in the cardboard).
As you can see, the second version naturally turned out to be brighter, but another undoubted advantage is the pure white color of the irrigation side.
If you wish, the wrong side can be easily toned by imposing the desired color on the computer and printing on the printer.
By the way, the use of Lomond photobums will cost much more expensive than using ordinary cardboard. Judge for yourself: one sheet of uncovered cardboard for children's creativity is an average of 2.5 rubles, and the cost of 1 sheet of photographs in my case was 4 rubles (but it can be found cheaper). Obviously, according to the ratio of price and quality Lomond - out of competition. But this, as they say, information for reflection.
