Storeroom is a place to store the most unexpected things. I was easier for me to forget that in my apartment also there is such a chunge. First, it was not quite lucky with the layout: in size, the storeroom resembles the built-in wardrobe. Secondly, due to the large number of things cleaned, the real chaos appeared very quickly in it. It turns out that all these problems are solved and quite simple!
Remove everything too much!
Any repairs begins with cleaning the room to naked walls. In the case of the storage room, it was necessary to first pull out all the things placed there. Of course, about half of the found items, I safely managed to forget. At this stage, the most important thing was to decide what the found should be left.
We are very often stored things, because we just feel sorry to throw them out. They may be associated with some sentimental memories or simply came expensive. But if we want to change, it is necessary to break up with all things that are not used. I confess that items that were especially sorry made in free ads with a proposal to give for a minimum remuneration. But the clothes are not in size and other frank trash threw away without remorse.
When things were sorted, it's time to dismantle old shelves and hangers. In the storage room, the walls were painted with light matte paint, and I decided to try to shove the wallpaper straight on this coating.
Cosmetic repair and creation of a new storage system
For the transformation of the storeroom, I needed only to salary walls with wallpaper. On the floor in My Chulana, I was already lying the same carpet as in the room. Wallpapers were purchased for sale, for pasting such a small room, it took a half of the roll - taking into account the selection of the picture.
How to organize a convenient storage system on such a small area? After repairing in the bedroom, I just had an unnecessary little chest. In their dimensions, he perfectly stood in the storage room.
Two simple open shelves were made over the chest of dresser from the furniture shield. On the inside of the door in the catch of inspiration, I drew a simple pattern. When opening the door, this color emphasis supports the integrity of the space of the room and the secret locker.
Finishing strokes
After the efforts made for me it was important that in the Chulana the order was preserved. Therefore, for storage on the shelves, I have acquired the same wicker baskets. They look stylish, and inside one container there is one category of things.
In my storeroom, I stored household chemicals, unreasonable clothing, sports equipment and other rarely used things.
