Today I will tell you how in 2 hours it is possible to change the appearance of the Lacc table from IKEA in a very simple and budget way!
For wonderful transformation, we will need:
1. LAKK table.
2. Artificial leather - with a width of 140 cm Length - 70 cm (85cm).
3. Scissors.
4. Adhesive gun.
5. Scotch larger.
6. Lace.
So let's get up! First you need to unscrew the legs of the table, that is, to disassemble it.
Then, make a markup on the cut from artificial leather.
In order to be clearer how to place the patterns of table top and legs on the cut, I made a scheme on paper.
Here you can see that on the table top it is necessary to carvek the square 70 * 70 (55cm - the length and width +5 cm - the thickness of the table top and 2.5 cm - on the bending).
Further, there are 3 legs, the fourth - at the bottom (40 cm - the height of the legs + 1.5 cm on the bending; 20 cm - the width of the legs in the deployment of + 2 cm - allowance on the seam).
note That if your cloth is with a pattern, then all the legs are kept better in one direction.
In this case, you will need about 85 cm of artificial leather. With a cut that does not have a characteristic figure, 70 cm is sufficient.
I also want to draw your attention to that there are materials that are very well drawn in width ( Check!).
In such a case, we reduce one side of the pattern by 1 cm (that is, the tabletop will not be 55 * 55, and 55 * 54 and so on with the legs not 22 * 41.5, and 21 * 41,5)!
So, the markup was made, cut out. Now you can firm the angles of the "Countertops".
Fascinated and can immediately make sections, as shown in the photo.
Further wear. Transformation begins!
Next, we take a raner tape and glue any two opposite sides.
You can glue one solid stripe, it is possible with the interval - no values.
Now we are preparing an instrument of massive ... gluing! Armed with a glue gun! We glue the two opposite sides that do not stick with scotch.
During gluing, try to pull the fabric to the center of the table top! Also do not forget about the corners! They are better immediately glued, so that they do not move away from the spot.
This is what ultimately should get you:

Perfectly stretched, smooth, without folds and wrinkles surface!
Now legs!
Stitching the length of the rectangles of future clothes of the table legs. Then, before taking the new "tights", find the holes in which the legs are screwed up with scissors:
Now you can easily screw the feet of the table, and then put on them new "tights".
Please note that the "legs" seam should look in the middle of the table top!
We stretch until it stops in the worktop.

Now these "sticking" allowances are glued to the bottom of the legs:
When all 4 sides are glued, cut out of the residues of artificial skin square in size about 48 mm in the amount of 4 pieces.
With these squares we put the bottom of the feet of the table.
I turn over!
At this stage, I do not really like this place - the place of connecting the legs with the worktop.
I decided that this deficiency was reeling very simple, but an attractive way - lace!
Take a glue gun. According to the contour of the table, slowly, inflicting with droplets with a certain interval (for example, 3 cm), glue lace :)
Now it is better :)
Well, here is also ready for our table!
It cannot be said that he has changed to unrecognizability, but it became much more attractive!
I will say that I rejected this table for the second time. It was necessary to change the color :)
With the help of the color and texture of the material, I gave the LAKK table classic image in exchange old - minimalistic.
Now he fits into my interior. I did not have to throw out the old table and spend money on a new one.
