In order to weave, or rather weaken such a bracelet, you need a machine. The bases of the base will be fixed on it - fixed threads, to which the bead ranks will be sewn. The machine can be bought in the store of materials for needlework, but you can do it yourself. By functionality, the homemade machine is not inferior to the store. We will make the manufacture of this device today.
For machine and preparation for weaving you need:
- 1 Cardboard box from under shoes with a fully removable lid
- Scotch
- Portnovsky pins
- Lock
- Lesk 0.25 mm and thinner
- scissors
We remove the cover from the box and apply it to the bottom so that it turns out a straight angle between the lid and the bottom of the box.
We bind scotch tape. Scotcho do not regret and stretch it with fowering so that the lid and the box do not flaw.
Next, we equip the machine with pins that will keep the bases of the base. For the bracelet with nine rows of beery, you need 10 filaments of the base, and for this you need to place on the lid and the box 9 pins: 4 from above and 5 below. Two more threads (the beginning and end of the thread base) will go past the pin and attach directly to the lid.
Locks in the product at the stage of stretching the bases of the base. For the bracelet, we use the connected snaging lock with six holes for fastening (3 on each side).
How does the castle with three holes smoothly fix ten threads? In the extreme holes of the lock, the third and eighth bases will be held, and on the average hole, the lock will go at once 2 threads: the fifth and sixth. Thus, the lock will be located symmetrically relative to the bracelet.
So, we begin to pull the thread. It is necessary to stretch enough tight, on the weakly stretched threads of the basics work is inconvenient. We take a fishing line, we wrap the meter one and a half or two and one tip is fixed on the cover of the machine scotch tape (we leave the stock of 15 cm so that it was convenient to remove the fishing line into the bracelet body).
The remaining fishing line must be tightened to the machine "Snake", so I stretch the thread down and, by spending behind the first pin, take up.
Thus, we already have two rows of the filament. Top clinging the thread base behind the pin. Since the next thread base will be the third, then it is time to mount the castle.
We disassemble the lock and turn it over half the holes to each other. When tightening the third thread base, we carry it out through the holes of both halves of the lock.
One half must stay at one end of the future bracelet, and the second one on the other. In the photo below shows, the fishing line passes through the locking of the lock from the bottom up.
The fourth thread is usually stretched, and we carry out the fifth through the lock. Since we have a fifth and sixth thread on one side, the fifth and sixth threads form a loop, which, when tightening the filaments of the base at the final stage, you can accidentally pull out from the lock, then at this stage it is necessary to ride a beerin that will serve a stopper for the loop.
We stretch the sixth thread of the base and do not forget to carry out through the holes of both parts of the lock. The seventh thread is usually stretched, we again spend the eighth through the lock, the ninth and tenth we stretch as usual.
The second tip of the filament base is fixing with a scotch on the cover of the machine.
The machine is ready to work.
