American needlewoman Lisa Lu has endless patience and exposure, because you need a huge power force to make a whole bead kitchen.

Lisa spent on its first project "Kitchen" Lisa and spent 5 years (1991-1996) collecting a kitchen on a natural amount of millions of bead balls. Lisa has created amazing giant mosaics in the shape of the backyard and kitchen, gluing and sewing each bead ball with a tweezers.

The artist says that it was inspired by the traditional beading of Africa, which is still very popular in local culture.

She collaborated with local masters who introduced her to beading secrets, which was transmitted from generation to generation.

In 1999, Lisa Lu decided to start a new project "Rear yard", for which she used more than 30 million bispers!

In 2013, Lisa presented his last project called the "Color Field", which would like to the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Diego until November 3.

"Color fields" is a tribute to the meadows and the fields of South Africa, where Lisa is now working.
