Looking at these wonderful bouquets of the Ukrainian artist Oley Galcherko, it is very difficult to believe that they ... not real. In fact, this is all made of cold porcelain.
Odessatka Olesya Galuschenko, in the specialty - engineer-hydraulic engineering, took up the manufacture of flowers from polymer clay 7 years ago, when was on maternity leave. Deciding to start doing something with her own hands, she accidentally dotted on a decorative bouquet of flowers, which decided to reproduce. Not wanting to pay for courses and classes, she began to study the craft independently, looking through free online lessons.
Over time, the self-taught artist realized that the polymer clay was not quite a suitable material for the extent of the realism she wanted to achieve, so I decided to experiment and soon discovered that cold china exactly meets its requirements.
Considering every flower like a real botanist, she began to study the world of plants and so thoroughly sculpt all the elements that her bouquets are now difficult to distinguish from the real.
Working from early morning to late night, the Ukrainian artist can create one peony per day, and for a twig of Lilac goes around a week - such a time-consuming process, which she is completely out of all In the queue in the waiting list.
"Once I received an order for 100 porcelain tulips, but in the end the customer could not buy them away because of financial problems," said Olesya. "Then I placed them on my site, and they were rejected for one or two days."
Each porcelain flower, which comes out of the hands of Oleces Galcherchenko, is unique, and with proper care, it can be stored forever. She recommends keeping them away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity, clean with a vacuum cleaner and gently wipe with a wet cloth.
