The popularity of LED lighting is growing. The number of Russian manufacturers of LED lamps is approaching hundred. Unfortunately, some of them are not shy to deceive the buyer, for one discrediting other manufacturers. After all, the buyer unsuccessfully bought some lamps, then it will be afraid to buy others.
Here are two lamps "Economy". Judging by the pictures, the buyer must understand that they consume 5 W, and shine, like 60-watt incandescent bulbs.
Cheating begins in the information shown on the packaging. On both lamps, a small font indicates: "Light flow: 340 lm".
That's just 340 lumens are not 60 W equivalent, but only 40. But this is not all the deception. Test both lamps.
Instead of the promised 5 W, the power of the "candle" is 4 W, and the "ball" only 3.9 W. Light flow - 283 and 231 lm. These light bulbs are shining as 25-watt incandescent lamps, and the manufacturer promised the equivalent of 60 W.
Another example is two cosmos lamps. The manufacturer promises an equivalent of 75 W at a 7-watt ball and 60 W in a 5-watt candle.

Already implausible, isn't it? We look at a very small font on the back of the box.

Candle power 3.8 W instead of 5 W. Ball power 5 W instead of 7 watts. The light stream at the candle is only 242 lm, the ball is 422 lm. They promised that the light bulbs would shine, like 75 W and 60 W, and actually shine, like 45 W and 25 W.

Oops. Instead of 7 W, only 5.6 W, and instead of 560 lm, only 332 lm. Light bulb, which, according to the manufacturer's assurances, should shine, like a 60-watt incandescent lamp, shines as 40-watt.
Unfortunately, the LED lamps coming on sale are not controlled in Russia. According to GOST R 54815-2011, the measured initial light flux of the LED lamp should be at least 90% of the nominal light flux. But at GOST Many just spit.
Lies with power and brightness it is not all. You can find a large number of lamps with a strong visible pulsation of light (this can lead to fatigue), as well as lamps with a low color rendition index (CRI), leading to the fact that the colors of the objects illuminated with such lamps look unnatural.
I am known only five brands that never lie with a power and light stream. And all of them are not Russian. This is IKEA, OSRAM, Philips, Thomson and Diall (own brand stores Castorama).
Most of the Navigator russian brands lamps are nailed, List, Gauss, X-Flash have a power and light stream that corresponds to the declared and only some models of these manufacturers are weaker than promised. Equipment for testing lamps costs expensive, tests in laboratories are also non -one, so it turns out that sometimes manufacturers learn how many lights actually give their lamps from me.
Before buying LED lamps, learn the results of their testing on LampTest.Ru. Even if there is no specific model you want to buy, make a general opinion about the manufacturer by other models. Often, the manufacturer of the lamp is quite good, but you need to enter a "amendment to brightness", buying lamps with a margin in brightness. For example, the same housekeeper brands, space and start many lamps are quite decent.
