Summer continues, but many vacation and the sea stayed behind, and resting from home care is increasingly on the territory of their site. The owner of a country house in the photo below was the old gazebo-pergola, which remained from the previous owners. It was planned that in a few years the Lianov will ring it, which will give a thick shadow and turn this small courtyard with a barbecue area into a wonderful place of rest.
But I wanted to enjoy in the summer now, therefore elegant and budget exit from the situation was found: the strips of the awning on the roof of the arbor. The purchased tent fabric was wide enough, and that it was less drowned by the wind, the pieces were cut along on equal parts. It turned out four stripes. To sunmate the edges on the sewing machine, passed half an hour. And for fastening the strips of the awning to the gazebo, the records are added to them.
Then the bands were simply extended through pergola crossbars and through the recordings are fixed with screws. Thus, at the end of the season, the awning can be easily removed and deposited. It is clear that for year-round use, such a gazebo is not suitable.
Then the lighting was made: garland with light bulbs was attached to the ceiling.
A couple of hours of work, and now the gazebo does not just give the shadow: there was a feeling of the seaside restaurant, in which it is so nice to fade. This feeling is enhanced.
As we see, two more strips of the age can be added to the roof of the arbor, and then it would be completely closed. But this thing is in the left corner, closed with green tarranet - this is a barbecue oven. For the purpose of fire safety, it was left open.
