The design of the box is so simple that even novice in a joinery is so easy to build it.

Purity suggests: Vegetables should be stored in a special box. Such a box should be well ventilated, which creates optimal conditions for storing potatoes, as well as other vegetables, such as carrots and a bouquet. Thanks to the below, the tray will be easier to take the amount of them. Our box is designed for 150 kg of potatoes.

You will need:

• Fir or pine boards thick 20 mm

• Square rails 15 × 15 mm

• Racks 45 × 45 mm

• Plywood 8 mm thick

• 4 furniture rollers

• Nails, screws and glue

Functional Potato and Vegetable Storage Box

Collect a box of pine boards (20 mm thick) and rails (15x 15 mm), while the front and side walls have lumeks creating the necessary ventilation. The box is closed by four lattices inserting in turn in longitudinal grooves in side racks. In the bottom lattice there is a tray from which potatoes are comfortable to take.

The deaf panels, namely: the top, bottom, rear wall and one of the side - glue from pine boards and combine the joints into the joint using transverse speakers.

On the inside of both front racks, a 16 × 16 mm groove is chosen, and the racks themselves are fixed with glue and screws from the upper and lower end.

The right wall is collected as follows. On the back of the back panel and the front rack screws are screwed up pre-lubricated rail glue 15 × 15 mm. Between them leave a gap of 25 mm.

Four 400 mm height lattices have such a thickness so that they exactly entered the grooves chosen in the racks. The lattices are made of 15 × 15 mm racks, fastening them with two transverse rails of the same section by glue and screws. The gap between horizontal bars is also 25 mm.

The tray is built into the lower grille: two triangular sidewalls and front shield. These three parts are cut from plywood (8 mm) and fasten with glue and nails, after which the tray is installed opposite the opening.

If you wish, you can additionally make the shelves for storing other vegetables - in this case they will rely on one of the plates of the right wall and attached the support bar on the opposite wall. Four durable furniture rollers (wheels) are attached to the bottom of the drawer (wheels), allowing you to easily move it.

The material for the box can be served and already used by the board or the panel of the chipboard, and the front grids can be made from processed slats.
