I want to share with you my joy - I have my own workshop. The workshop is its own needlework house.
And any house requires the situation. And the first took its place in it the new shelf, which I "blinded from what was." Today I want to tell and show you how I did it. And since I really like the style of Shebbi Chic, then it was in this direction that I moved!
Part One: "Old shelf"
I discovered an old one with my colleague, which, in fact, has long dreamed. Since the lower shelf in the shelves half appeared, and there was no one to repair, then the colleague was glad to be presented to me. I, with even greater joy, this gift accepted. That's how she looked:
Shelves painted gender paint. The bottom shelf had to be removed, in the photo the shelf is already without it.
Washing helped remove old paint. We act according to the instructions: we apply a wash on the surface of the shelves, withstand the time, we remove the old spatula. The processed surface is washed with warm water with a detergent, we succeed.
The next stage: sandpaper we clean irregularities and roughness.
Next: Ground the shelves acrylic soil. Racks leave as it is. They are covered in some kind of composition, I think it's a veil. There are places, the ribs struts with a paraffin candle. The soil dries up, paint the whole shelf with white acrylic paint. Used paint in the cans. Easier and faster for those who are rarely engaged in painting work. The paint is applied in three layers.
Drying, blazing places that rubbed the candle, coated two or three times with acrylic varnish.
Part Two: "Bedside".
Rather, it will be not to say, not a bedside table, but the lower part of the former washbasin.

Blank bedside table carefully, considering the remnants of old paint and smoothing roughness. The protruding parts are painted brown acrylic paint, we dry, rub the candle.
Coated with white acrylic soil, then acrylic white paint in three layers, dried carefully each layer. Please note the handle is also different. Bought in a wooden lacquered store. And in just 15 rubles! Okaril varnish, screwed the handle. Olya Kim, thanks for the idea!

Part Three: "New shelf, Hurray!"
We take the shelf, take a bedside table, taking your workshop and put on each other. I did not put them together tightly, because the design was very stable. New shelf ready!

We take the needleful inheritance from the grandmother's chest, carefully erased, starch, smoothed and decorated the shelf! What a pleasant occupation is ...
On the shelves we put the needlework treasures from your favorite masters. And ... We admire! And rejoice!
