Today we will sew cozy and very comfortable home slippers!
Since November behind the window and I want to be warm and comfortable to our legs and comfortably, torn our slippers with artificial (and it is possible and natural, it will be gorgeous!) Fur! In such slippers, they are not ashamed and take guests - they look luxuriously, in a boyars! You can sew slippers just from dense fabric or from artificial leather, without an additional decor - they will serve you faithfully for a long time.
So, we will need:
- Cotton cloth jacquard weave for top slippers;
- Tight cotton (I have Ikeevsky) Wheat colors for the inside of the sole;
- Tight cotton for edging Slippers Color coffee with milk (also for edging there may be an artificial leather that we use for the soles, it just didn't fit the color);
- artificial leather for soles;
- tight tarpaulin and a piece of thick shoe leather for the insole of the insole;
- syntheps or any other gasket material;
- glue web and collar Dublerin;
- a small piece of bits or other dense fabric;
- a piece of suede for the heel;
- faux fur;
- Threads, beads for decor, scissors;
- Glue "Moment".
Separately represent the pattern. You can enlarge this photo until the size of the A4 sheet and circle the template directly from your computer monitor. The cross is marked by the inner side of the slipper.
In the master class, a pattern is presented on size 38-39, but it is easy to increase or decrease at your discretion.
The sole will be two-layer - for greater strength and rigidity.
Cut the parts of the top of the sole: 2 details of the insoles of cotton, two parts from the plug-in material, two suede heels, two rectangular pieces of diversified and two details of the insoles made of collar dublerin. Details from Dublerin cut by 1.5 cm smaller around the perimeter so that they do not fall into the seam edge and did not add to us an excessive thickness.
Customize the decorative string of suede heels on the insoles, glit from the opposite side of Dublerin.
We collect "sandwich" - cotton part, layer of gasket, binding. Customize the insole on the contour, cut off too much.
Now similarly we collect the lower part of the sole, only instead of two-inclination we take a more dense tarpaulin, which will give an insole with extra strength and thickness.
From thick shoe skin, cut out a couple of stelek, cutting off the outer cut 1.5-2 cm so that it does not get into the seam edge.
We glue this insole from the inside of the sole - that is, this padling insole will be between the upper and lower layers of the sole.
Now we collect both layers of the sole and steady.
Everything! Our insoles are ready!
Perhaps this technology is sewing the soles around the time-consuming, and you say that you can simply take ready-made soles from old slippers, or a cork sole, or even tissue soles to strengthen with linoleum! Such options, of course, are also quite applicable. But I like such a "puff pastry", I brought his ideal formula by samples and mistakes, sewing a bunch of slippers as a gift to relatives, friends and acquaintances. The sole is obtained moderately dense and thick (the thickness of the sole is about 1 cm), but at the same time mild and pleasant in the sock. And very durable.
Now proceed to the manufacture of the top of the slippers.
In me, I found a section of coupon cotton with jacquard border around the edge. The colors of the fabric is constructed in traditional colors of Khokhloma painting - red, gold and black (I have dark burgundy). After a long twist and reference pattern of the top of the slipper, I was finally determined with the location of the pattern.
Cut the parts of the upper part of the slipper from dilates (with letters along the contour of 1.5-2 cm on the Esnor) and from cotton, observing the symmetry of the position of the pattern on the left and right parts of the slippers. Do not forget on all parts of the upper part of the slipper to put a cross from the inside of the part, to then properly assemble the left sole with the left upper part and the right sole with the right upper part.
We try a piece of fur - it should be beautiful!
Stitching halves. With the help of the adhesive cob, we stick a jacquard part to the base of the two-ones.
Using a template, we equip the top items.
Now we will define the width of the fur rod. I decided that I have fur parts will be 4 cm wide. We supply the top part of the upper part of the slipper, measuring down 4 cm and spend parallel to the top line.
I cut out the details of the edges of the fur, be sure to take into account the direction of the pile - from top to bottom. Fur is dismissed either by the blade or the tips of the scissors, trying to cut only the knitting base of the tissue, and not cut the fur patches.
We apply fur parts to the upper parts of slippers from jacquard and rocking pins. We put on a sewing machine with a wide and tight zigzag stitch and spend on the edges of the fur on top and bottom, while the fur plows carefully bent out from under lines.
It's time to decorate our future slippers beads. I decided to put a bit of red and brown beads on the Pattern of Jacquard.
After a pair of hours of meditative stuffing beads, this is what happened.
Next, we cut out from cotton sandy-colored two details of the surface of the top jacquard detail, do not forget to grab the left and right parts according to the cross from the inside of the part.
We are looking face to face the vertex and wrappers and steal them.
We apply in several points of the allowances on the seam and turn the garment on the wrong side, we release a rope from the vertex detail (fur). Usually I pacing the finishing line at the top of the part. But in this case, we will not do it because of the fur, so we fasten the vertex item and the slap with several hand stitches from the wrong side.
Step the vertex parts and circuit wrappers. We feed the vertex parts to the soles, combining control signs. Slippers are almost ready - they can already try!
From dense cotton color coffee with milk (or from the skin, which we used for the sole), cut the oblique beyk. I got a bay 4cm wide and 150 cm long (on two slippers at once).
We edit the slippers of the oblique baker, the seam width is 0.8 cm (all previous lines along the contour of the slipper should go in the seam).
We turn off the oblique beak on the wrong side, we bring open sections inside and fix the pins.
Now you need to hear the slice of oblique bey. I prefer to do it by hand with a neat fine stitch, piercing through the sole. If you have a powerful industrial machine with a high boost, you will not be difficult to perform this operation on the sewing machine. The height of the lift of my car's legs, alas, does not allow you to slip there such a thickness (about 1 cm). Therefore, we take in the hands of strong threads, a thick needle and thimble, reserve patience and label edging!
I manually took the branch of the edge of manually about 3 hours.
And finally, ready slippers! We admire, photograph, praise to relatives and friends!
