Today we will tell and show how to make a table of drinking a tree. The design of it is extremely simple and perfect for a beginner with some experience. According to the end of the work, you will receive useful wood processing skills and in the future you can go to much more complex products.

1. Materials:

Step 1: Selection of Material
You probably picked rare decorative wood with an interesting pattern. Step 2: Pre-preparation of wooden blanks for table top

- Natural Olife (often based on the same linen oil) - acts as well as linseed oil;
- Decorative oil (oil veneer) - reliably protects wood from any effects, including light mechanical. With it, it is possible to tint the tree, but you can also use colorless oil;
- Wooden varnish - equally reliably protects wood from all types of exposure. Choose a matte varnish to achieve the most natural effect.
Decide with a coating and paint the worktop. To do this, use the brush to apply the first layer and wait for complete drying to evaluate the result. For painting solid horizontal surfaces (as in the case of the workpiece of the table top), you can use a small roller. It is even easier to apply the material with it, rather than brush.
If after painting the tone seemed to you not deeply or in case the shade is lighter than expected, apply the second layer.
If you are using lacquer, every new layer we advise slightly stabilize small emery paper. After such a procedure, micro scratches are formed on its surface and the new layer penetrates into the previous one, forming a more resistant and reliable coating. This is done in the process of manufacturing furniture, experienced masters, performing at times to 5-7 layers of varnish.
Step 5: Assembly
Collect the base and secure the worktop on it. Use furniture screws as fasteners. But before you surely drill holes for fasteners, otherwise the workpiece in the process risks split.
