Today I want to present you one way to knit openwork stripes - knitting on the line.
This method is suitable for those who only want to learn to knit air strips, but not solved still spending on a knitting fork. Also, knitting on the line will allow opening stripes that need 1-2 pieces to decorate a knitted product.
For the first time I also tied a strip on the line, after which I could not resist and bought a set of a universal fork to continue learning at a more professional level.
The strip-related strip is tightly held with a loop than the connected in the fork with semi-brass, but less tight than those associated with a column without a nakid or with an attachment.
For work is necessary:

From the width of the line will depend on the width of future loops in the openwork strip.
Make a root on the hook.

We stretch the thread through the Nakid, and immediately through the next loop. There should be one loop on the hook.
Thus, we are inserting the following loops. There should be such a beautiful "pigtail".
We remove the loops from the line and get a fringe that you can sew to scarves, curtains, etc.
For knitting from such openwork strips of products, you need to tie another side of the air loops. To do this, you need to link one air loop at the end of the band and deploy it upside down loops.
We ride a hook from the "pigtails".
We do the Nakid on yourself, we carry out the lines of the line of thread and Nakid (as in the first half of the openwork).
Slip the loop on the hook to get one loop.
To perform the next air loop, we again grab the loop from the "pigtails" and repeat all actions for its knitting.
During knitting, make sure that the pigtail does not break.
