How simple, budget and beautifully close the battery with a decorative screen

I want to share the idea as simply, budget and beautifully you can close the battery. For me, this problem has long existed for a long time, since the apartment is angular and, in addition to standard batteries under the windows, an additional battery was concerned in the room on the "honorable" place. It is impossible to remove the furniture next to not put, it remains only the option is beautifully beat!

I had an excellent idea to create a false window of plasterboard with LED backlight, panoramic fresco and even curtains! But the idea was too ambitious, and her incarnation was never implemented. Already made another repairs, and the battery question was open. Then we decided to go in a simple way and break this question to the stages.

The first stage was decided to create a sill imitation. Now there are quite a few sentences of various screens and whole systems for decorating window space with batteries. But we did not like the same, and we have non-standard sizes. The finished screens of a cheap segment were not satisfied with the design and quality and did not fit in size. The expensive were unreasonably roads, and the necessary size had to be ordered. Well, I didn't want to contact the specialized firms to contact such a simple matter. Thought, thought and invented! Simple design of 5 elements.

Made a preliminary markup on the wall.

In the construction supermarket bought wooden blanks of the size of the factory production.

Printed and painted all parts.

With the help of the corners, the frame was collected and attached to the wall.

For the screen, a simple fastening was invented: the screws fixed on the back of the screen are inserted into the grooves fixed on the main structure. It was easy to scout, but it was necessary that the screen was removable, so they made such a mobile mount.

The size of the screen was calculated in such a way that there were gaps for heat exchange and convenience of cleaning.
