- We decided to share your kitchen design option. True, repairs made 5 years ago.
Maybe someone will like the idea of expanding the kitchen space at the expense of the balcony, as well as kitchen furniture "under the tree" in contrast to modern glossy multicolored facades that are now dominated by our apartments and houses.
Started repairs with redevelopment. The balcony unit was dismantled. So it was possible to increase the kitchen area from 7.3 m2 to 12 m2. On the former balcony now the dining area. The balcony was insulated, the battery was moved there, installed a new plastic window. The ceiling was initially covered and painted, but later, when the corners on the ceiling were darkened from damp, I had to make a stretch (though, until the plinth was glued). Laminate was laid on the floor in the dining area. In the resulting niche, where there was an exit to the living room, a refrigerator set up very well.

The dining group was first a slightly different, with a sofa, trimmed by the leather of a dairy color, which was liked by our cat as brakes. I had to drag. Unfortunately, the master on a drawing did not find a more suitable color of the fabric, chose green. And the table was round glass on a metal leg, but over the years he did not prove himself, I had to replace it on a wooden one, so it turned out such a dissonance with the legs of the sofa and the table.
Wallpaper washable, German. It was very difficult to decide on such yellow huge roses, but the husband said that in the kitchen will always be bright and sunny, even in winter, and they stopped.
The floor in the kitchen is tiled. There was a significant difference in height between the kitchen and the balcony, so it turned out the step, which was laid out with a tiled with an ornament.
Kitchen set - "Call". Acquired in the finished form. It is absolutely simple, without closers, but very spacious and practical, there are no fingers and divorces on the facades.
The apron laid out a tile of 20 × 30 cm.
Washing, extractor, cooking panel and oven - Italian company ELITE, Coffee machine - Philips, TV - Horizont, Refrigerator - Atlant.
Lighting in the kitchen - lamp on three light bulbs, daylight lamp in the work area, two light bulbs in the hood, lamp on one light bulb in the dining area. The lamps tried to choose with the same ornament: and one bought in Belarus, and the second in Ukraine.
Opposite the kitchen headset - a bar stand, custom. Many consider this furniture useless, but I can safely assume that it is very convenient to sit here during cooking, as well as a cup of coffee, or, in the end, "hide" from the baby-pitchframe, striving to snatch from the hands of a hot cup.
As for the monetary issue, some miracle found in a notebook the cost of the kitchen in 2010 prices. Taking into account the dollar's course at that moment, some numbers:
- Expenditure on building materials and the work of the master - 1 thousand 770 dollars;
- approximate cost of household appliances - 1 thousand 100 dollars;
- Kitchen set (with assembly and bar counter) - 1 thousand 280 dollars;
- Dining group - 400 thousand.
Total: 4 thousand 550 dollars.
Our kitchen is not at all modern, but very comfortable and spiritual. It is nice to spend time on it, even when the window is overcast and sad. And in the summer, sitting on the sofa, so perfectly contemplate the greens of foliage outside the window and listen to the tweet of birds - and this is all in an apartment five-story building.
