The process of cooking glue
For the preparation of glue, you need to cut the plastic ABS scrap on small pieces. Usually from this plastic make household housings and office equipment. From the color of the scrap used depends on the shade of finished glue. If, for example, you need a black composition, then it is necessary to use dark plastic.
The crushed scrap is closed into a glass jar with a lid, and is poured with a small amount of acetone. Approximately 12-24 hours, depending on the size of pieces, the plastic is completely dissolved. You just need to open it and stir it.
If the composition turned out to be strongly liquid, then it is possible to hold it with an open lid for weathering excess solvent. In this form, the glue can already be used for gluing products from ABS. Very convenient to do this by gaining it in the syringe.
To enhance the reliability of the connection, before applying the glue, it is worthwhile to miss the contact surfaces of plastic with pure acetone to melt them a little for better polymerization. This composition is suitable for casting, as well as they can paint any surfaces.
