The trend is increasingly gaining momentum to give up the usual place of work in the office and stable wealth, everything sells and leave for the sunset - that is, becoming "digital nomads". Many programmers, translators, writers, photographers and graphic designers are constantly moving from place to place, continuing to work at the same time.
Having decided to follow this example, the Hungarian photographer Norbert Yuhas (Norbert Juhász) and his bride Dor broke up with urban life in the center of Budapest, turning a 16-year-old van in a mobile home for travel and freelance. The vehicle itself is rather inconspicuous and looks like a variety of other freight minibuses.
In the development and implementation of the maximum simplified project of the mobile home for two people, his architectural education helped.
The entire interior makes up three main elements. The first is a sofa.
The sofa performs a double bed feature. Under it is an electrical system and a place for storing things.
The kitchen has a gas stove with a balloon, washing and water tank.
The last element is a M-shaped cabinet, the lower part of which serves as a seat with a refrigerator inside. Ultimate is a place to store things.
For maximum thermal insulation, a 5-centimeter layer of polyurethane foam is applied to the body of the van from the inside.
In the mobile house there is a rather complicated electrical system with a voltage of 12 volts. It can be charged in three different ways: with the help of a 250-watt solar panel placed on the roof, from the engine generator and from a voltage of 220 volts.
It includes two rechargeable batteries with a total capacity of 200 amperes and a small inverter by 220 volts.
Water and gas supply systems are extremely easy to use. There is a 11-kilogram gas cylinder connected to a stove, and a 70-liter water tank that is connected to a water tap with a pump that is triggered. Additional connection location allows you to quickly take a shower from the back of the van.
