Bathroom rug made by her own hands

Successful idea for those who love to make something with their own hands, but does not want to spend a lot of time on crafts. In principle, it is possible to make a blank for this rug while watching a favorite transfer or care for children. Such things are a great opportunity to demonstrate your delicate taste and at the same time choose an accessory suitable for your bathroom color.

Step 1. From the ribbon yarn it is necessary to weave the thick twine. To do this, use your own fingers. There will be approximately 1, 5 hours on the weaving of the twine. The most remarkable thing is that it can be done everywhere: in front of the TV while you are waiting for a child with a dance class, for example, even in the subway!

So, for the manufacture of rug for the bathroom you will need:

Two days of tape yarn of two or three colors on your taste;

Motok strong cotton thread for the base;

A piece of plywood in the size of the future rug;

31 carnations;

A hammer;

2 clothespins or clamp.

Step 2. If you interrupt work, secure the loops taken from the fingers, two clothespins or clamps. This will prevent the disbuilding of the loops. If the yarn of one color is over, just tie the end of another color to the end of the previous one.

Step 3. We prepare the "Weaving Machine". To do this, clog the cloves along the upper and lower edge of the plywood sheet. At the top we score 15 carnations at a distance of 2, 5 cm, downstairs score 16 carnations in the row at the same distance. It is not so important that the distance between the carnations was a millimeter to the millimeter, but it is better to still outline the places for the nails with a marker.

Step 4. Tensioning a cotton thread. We make a loop at the end of the thread, and put on the lower left extreme carnation. Then the thread lead to the upper carnation, then to the bottom, and so to the end. On the last carnation, the thread is fixed too by looting.

Step 5. Now we take our cord and stretch through the threads, starting below and so zigzag there and back, trying to put the cord to lay tight between the bases of the foundation.

Step 6. When the twine is over, and the work still needs to be continued, just tie the new cord and connect the ends of both cords with the knot. The tips can be hidden behind the feed threads.

Step 7. If the rug length satisfies you, remove the bottoms of the base from the top row cloves and make the nodules close to the edge of the rug. Threads can be cut or bend on the back side of the rug and secure the bottoms of the base.
