Because of the beautiful and bright drawings, festive paper napkins are very sorry to throw away. Elegant motifs and want to stick somewhere! It turns out that with the help of a simple technique and the simplest material - the glue of PVA - you can turn part or a whole paper napkin into a plastic zaleminated material for decorating!
You will need two pieces of transparent polyethylene. It is important that they are superior to the size of the napkin, with which you will work. Typically, napkins consist of three layers of paper. Gently remove the two layers, leaving only the one on which the drawing is printed. However, if you want to get a firm and opaque material, you can laminate without separating white layers.
Put the napkin on the first piece of polyethylene face up. As if drawing a spiral from the center, apply not too thick PVA glue.
Next, cover the napkin by the second layer of polyethylene. Using any convenient object in the quality of the spatula, gently and carefully distribute the glue under the polyethylene over the surface of the napkin. It is important that there are no passes and dry places. If somewhere glue is not enough - raise polyethylene and add.
Turn over the napkin with the back side and carefully remove the polyethylene. Put the napkin to dry in the air. Excess glue from polyethylene around napkins.
After approximately 2 hours (the process can be accessed with a hair dryer) a dry napkin need to be carefully separated from the second piece of polyethylene. From the front side, the napkin will be glossy, and with the back - matte.
Now you can glue the napkin to almost any surface (preferably one-photon light), not afraid that thin paper breaks during operation. Even the thinnest paper becomes durable and elastic.
