I think, in every house, the craftsmen accumulate many different things from the discharge "but suddenly it will be useful." No offense is said - judging only by itself. I, for example, was made of a decent number of knitted brakes, T-shirts and turtlenecks from my children. How long thought, how to dispose of them? Sorry on the rags to translate, and rags, by the way, so much is not needed.
And finally, on the eve of the birth of my first granddaughter, I came the thought of making a soft rug. I do not know whether it was bright or from the discharge of no rest. I'm talking about thought.
For the manufacture of the rug we needed:
1. Adhesive gun.
2. Scissors.
3. Needle with thread.
4. Circle pattern with a diameter of 12 cm.
5. Knitted products that served their own.
6. Non-woven material is the fattest 1.6 m * 1.6 m.
7. Porolon.
8. Singry procession.
9. Glue 1 m * 1 m.
10. Fabric X / b 1 m * 1 m.
11. Lightning with a length of 1 m.
So, let's begin. From pre-wistful things (T-shirts, tv. D.) Cut the circles of different colors by rolling by the template with a marker.
I spent about 30 children's monophonic t-shirts and turtlenecks on my rug. By the way, I also disposed of nephews.
Using the simplest seam "Forward needle", we lay the line in a circle, retreating from the edge of 0.5 cm. The process is so simple that you can attract older children. I was helped by both daughters from time to time.
Insert the filler (sintepon, foam, etc.), tightening the thread, we get a soft ball.
Such balls on my rug with a diameter of 1.6 m needed (do not be frightened) about five hundred pieces, so the filler I used the used (old synthetone blanket, trigger trimming, knocked down holofayber pillows) - also a kind of recycling.
When we prepared a sufficient number of flowers we need (balls I sewed in the evenings in front of the TV), you can start gluing them with hot glue on the base from Loutrasil (sold in construction and shops for dachnings). It was possible, of course, to sew them, but I am too lazy ... In my idea, it was necessary to be a rainbow from above - I started with her.

The gluing process took place on the floor due to the product size. In order to avoid damage to the floor with hot glue, put the cardboard for the basis.
Shooting all the balls, according to the outlined sketch, in the middle she sewed a mattress made of foam rubber with a diameter of 1 m and a thickness of 3-4 cm, sashing the foam into the oilbox. Frankly, I just got out, and the reserves of my hamster came to an end.
From a suitable fabric drawing, a round lightning case for a mattress was sewed.
Making a rug - a long and painstaking process, but the result is worth it! Now it is a favorite place for the games of my granddaughter.
