Crazy-patchwork technique is an easy way to make a patchwork with an original and unusual pattern.
If the classic patchwork, or patchwork sewing, is a technique, involving a careful and accurate following the scheme of the diaskown connection, then Crazy-patchwork is a solid improvisation! To work in this technique, you do not need to paint the same details and with millimeter accuracy to customize them to each other. At the same time, patchwork blocks - and the canvas as a whole - are obtained beautiful and unusual. For the Crazy Pechor, you can use different remains of the fabric and create original patchworks with them.
Our master class is the basics of Crazy-Patchwork technique. Create such square blocks will be both newbies that have never been engaged in patchwork sewage.
You will need:
- Different tissue loskuts (preferably to take one thickness and density, but different colors);
- Calcarial or other similar material for the base;
- disk knife and mat substrate;
- Patchwork line;
- Portnovo scissors;
- dispenser;
- Iron and ironing board;
- Sewing machine and thread.
STEP 1
To make it easier to navigate in the course of work, take the item immediately from Bosii. Here it is a square 24x24 cm.
Select the flaps of the fabric, which will be located in the center of the block, and cut it, giving some form. For example, here it is an incorrect pentagon. Crazy technique suggests improvisation, therefore, in different blocks, parts, including central, will be different. So it is not necessary to recall the correct shape and the exact size for them.
Step 2.
Pick over the second loskutok. Cut it arbitrarily, but so that one direct side corresponds to the size of one of the sides of the first part.
Fold the details: the foundal of the base, the center is the first part face up, on top - the second detail of the inlet up, align the appropriate sides and take all three layers (0.6-0.7 cmx). The bids do not need to do.
Cut the threads, silense, then start it on the side just the sewn item. Repeat these three operations after joining each new part.
Step 3.
Every new flap we will attach to the left and above the previous one (counterclockwise). Pick up the following flaps, more authentic: its length should be larger than the length of two connected parts (see photo). If the details 1 and 2 do not form a perfect line line, nothing terrible. Align the part 3 and leave a larger point where the fabric serves.
Lay the line (0.6-0.7 cmx). Unscrew the base and cut the allowance where it acts as shown in the photo above.
Step 4.
Select and cut the next flap. Fold it with ready, focusing on one of the parties and also not paying attention to the protruding allowances. Load the line and doinched unnecessary.
Continue adding details, moving counterclockwise.
So that the work looks even more interesting and to dispose of short loskutka, you can connect them into a longer strip, and then it is then pushing it to the patch block.
When adding new and new loops, some stitches at the ends of the previous ones may interfere with attaching new parts or trimps. Take advantage of the unpackup to relax the desired cut line.
Step 5.
Continue adding parts until they are covered with the entire base (parts of the parts will be beyond the boundaries of the foundation). Cut the protruding parts, focusing on the boundaries of the base.
Step 6.
Along the edge of the block around the perimeter, launch a line at a distance of 0.3 cm from the edge. This will secure the loskutka and make it easier to stitch the finished blocks. Block is ready!
