I want to share my experience to decorate the wall under the brick. I always dreamed of a brick wall in my apartment, and when we finally got this concrete box 30 meters square, it was decided to fulfill dreams!
As a person toastful, I have learned all the construction stores, sites and forums in search of a suitable solution. The finished brick tiles for the most part looked very sad, and those were wombing - it was as if we were erected from whole brick wall.
It is absolutely no coincidence that I came across one interesting way to imitate brickwork, which I have a hurry to share.
Materials that were used on the wall of 9 sq.m.:
- Litters of liter two, any (150 p)
- Plaster (better not to regret and take a good, we had Knauf Rotband, 2 bags of 25 kg)
- Scotch Malarny is the narrower (1.9 cm), 4 Scotch passed on the wall, one of which was successfully lit Labaps
- Acrylic paint (better to take a good, we had Marshall, 3 l)

one. Fort the wall! We have successfully forgotten about this item and have already remembered when they made a markup of scotch, which in principle did not prevent us in the future, but delivered some inconveniences.
2. Then you need to make marking, the brick pattern is 25x7, you can take another to your taste.
We went along the path of least resistance and did not draw every brick. There were only levels, glued at the level of scotch, then the level was laid again and so on. It is important to leave cattle tails along the edges of the wall, so that it was for what to pull.
The transverse partitions were noted in size on two lower rows, and at the top ledged tape already on the eye.
3. We divor the plaster according to the instructions and apply it. The whole wall for one approach is not done high quality, so we do in parts. We have 5-6 zams on the whole wall. Hands in gloves apply plaster, layer thickness 3-5 mm. We tried to apply the spatula, but two pairs of hands came faster, and it was more interesting, in addition, all sorts of precipitated ala cracks can be made with fingers.
! Pre-protect the floor and walls with newspapers / film / wide painting scotch, because plastering cochahs will fall without a doubt
4. We are waiting for 2-5 minutes, depending on how thick you bred the plaster than the thicker, the less we are waiting and more likely to open the tape.
! It is important not to overtake the plaster if it gets dry more than you need, when tipping the scotch, the "brick" and its edge will be torn. We just came out in one piece of the wall, where the cut was delayed.

5. If the forces and desires are fully, we are lining the scotch where you need and proceed to the next piece. And so until the whole wall is ready.
6. We give yourself a little rest and wait when the plaster dries. Our was very cunning and the next day was ready for further processing. Then bricks need to be gripped well and get rid of all sharp corners so that it is later not to tear about them T-shirts, faces, souls ..
7. And now the long-awaited finale is a paint wall. In fact, it turned out to be the most vigorous and long occupation. Since the surface of the bricks turned out to be very intricate, it was necessary to paint them with a "twitch method", flat bricks painted, of course, many times easier. I do not know whether acrylic paint is applied with the help of a collapse, but probably he would also facilitate the situation.

8. We are waiting for a complete drying of paint, drink a cup, looking at the wall and then rejoice at how well it happened :)
The cost of such a repair, not counting our labor costs amounted to 3 tr., Purchase of the same finished tile-under-brick would be in 10 tr.
