Today we will do one of the main Russian folk dolls - Breeding.
Traditionally, this doll was created immediately after harvest. Her task is to save the best grains throughout the year to New Sev. But there is another, deeper meaning - to preserve and multiply all that this family is valuable and expensive.
For us, urban residents, harvest is no longer so important. But for us, it is very, very important not to devalue the results of your work, but to be able to save and increase the best and most valuable of what we have!
The meaning of the doll brunt is not to give the family abundance, but in helping to keep the basis of this abundance, the very essence. And then in the house, and everything will be wonderful in the family! :)
On this master class, we will witness step by step, how to create a brunt for your family, learn how to make a hopeless bag - the basis of the doll, get acquainted with a traditional female costume, wean the belt. But it is much more important than any technical techniques and nodes, is the attitude with which you are at the creation of the brewer! To work, we need:
- White cotton fabric (25x65 cm). This is a basic fabric fabric. Sign to take a thin fabric - it works more convenient to it;
- red cotton fabric (29x8 cm) for lower shirt;
- Orange fabric with a pattern (29x8 cm) for a reference. I have a flannel. You can take a woolen fabric. A classic pattern for the definition is a cell, but it is not fundamentally;
- wool burgundy felt for zipun (29x7cm);
- Bright strips of cotton fabric (19x3 cm) 3 pcs. For imitation of the dummy and eyeling. I have green, red with flowers and orange fabric with patterns;
- flaps for apron bright green - 9x7.5 cm, gently green - 8x6.5 cm and multi-colored - 7.5x5.5 cm. Cut, pull out several threads from three sides to form a beautiful fringe;
- Red cotton fabric (triangle with a base of 60 cm and 15 cm height) for a handkerchief. I advise you to choose a subtle cloth for the convenience of work. Color at your discretion. Please note that the overall impression of the doll depends on the header! It must be a beautiful fabric!
- Green buckwheat (approximately 450 g) - for filling the doll;
- red sewing thread;
- Iris threads for the belt;
- beads;
- Suspension "Lock" or "key" or "spoon".
In addition, we will be useful:
- sheet of thin cardboard 25x25 cm;
- double sided tape;
- gum "for money";
- Iron.

For folk dolls, only natural materials are traditionally used.
Green buckwheat is fundamentally! It is the green buckwheat, in contrast to the usual brown, can germinate! Brown is fried buckwheat, it is only suitable for food. Fill the brunt of fried buckwheat is just to make the reserve on the "black day". And, frankly, there will not enough for this stock at all for a long time. Remember that the task of the budget is to save and increase, give a new life, and not to serve as a "snap".

The red color of the work thread is traditional, performs the coastal function. And the use of sewing (thin) thread makes it easy to turn the thread without the use of scissors. In general, you can use the thread of any thickness. It is convenient for me that way.
Cardboard and tape will be required to create a cardboard tube - additional fixture. For the doll itself they are not needed.
I prefer to thoroughly burn all the bends, then the doll looks more careful.
Scissors and needle in work on the doll we do not use. I prefer to immediately cut the fabric to scissors on the desired flaps, to crate the bends and no longer cut anything. I do not use the needle at all.
First we will produce a small device that will make it easier for us. Take a sheet of fine cardboard, and with the help of two-sided adhesion we will make a cardboard tube.
Now proceed to the creation of the doll itself. The base of the brunt - a bag of buckwheat, which should be done without using the needle! Unfortunately, I could not find reliable information about how our ancestors did. Therefore, I offer you your own option. I hope you enjoy it! :)
We put our cardboard tube on the fabric and wind by a roll, it turns out 2 layers with the allen.
On the one hand, we collect a fabric with hand, like a candy candy, and we are tightly wrapped with a red thread clockwise. Then we tie the even number of nodules (I usually tie two) and tear tips. The tips can not be chopped, just to carefully hide under the winding, if it is so more convenient.
Now carefully remove the cardboard tube, turn the "candy" so that the node is inside. Again insert the tube inside and spread the fabric. It turned out a dyshko of the future bag.
We put our workpiece vertically and without removing the cardboard tube, fill the future bag of buckwheat. It is convenient to do this with the help of the scoop, but you can simply neatly pour out.
Without having atlooking the top edge of the tube about 1 cm, we take out the tube, we shake the bag slightly and again we collect the fabric "candy".
Again, turn the cloth with a red thread clockwise, we make an even number of nodules. Our hijacious bag with buckwheat is ready!
We take red fabric, wind our workpiece. Fix with several red thread turns, tie the nodules.
We put the future doll vertically, turning and grow red fabric. Shubah dressed! The edge is neat, the place of attachment is imperceptible.

Again, we put the future doll vertically, turn it off, we will straighten.
Wear zipun. For this edge of the felt blank on each side we turn the roll, and then tying to the doll. I use a rubber band for convenience: first I form both sleeves, then I apply zipong to the doll and fix temporarily with a rubber band. And after that, carefully wrapped the red thread and tie a nodule.
Remove the gum. We put everything you need. As a result, at this stage, the doll looks like this.
I prepare the ships for apron. I smooth and lay down on each other.

We try cloth for a headdress. The traditional headdress of a married woman included several layers. In the doll we will limit ourselves to the imitation of the dummy and elegant eyeling.
I prefer to just lay out all the fabric cave and fix on the doll immediately. I feel so comfortable. But you can fix each layer separately.
We smooth the cloth for a handkerchief. From the longest side, we feed the approximately half acemeter, smooth the bend. So the handkerchief will look careful.
Take a scarf doll. Watch that the folds of the scarf will be symmetrically located. Tips hide under the handkerchief.
Beautifully tie a doll's handkerchief is not easy, from the first time, many this does not work. Do not be discouraged, try again!
