Stages of work
- The material for the canvas will perform threads for knitting. You can use residues, even the threads of different thickness and absolutely different textures will be suitable. Of the unusual materials you will need a water-soluble stabilizer for embroidery and spray-retainer for embroidery or woolen painting. - At the beginning of work, you need to decompose a piece of the stabilizer in the size of the future product. If the product has difficult outlines, the stabilizer should be cut according to the pattern.
- Then you should spray on the surface of the stabilizer, the retainer.
- To create the pattern of the stabilizer, threads are laid out. For the first layer, the thread can be uploaded in chaotic order.
The second layer of the thread can be laid like the first, but if you plan to create a pattern, it is better to lay out the threads of the desired color.
The third and all subsequent layers should be laid in accordance with the selected pattern or color decision. Depending on the complexity of the drawing, you may need a different number of layers. For example, it will take 5 layers of threads for a simple openwork scream.
- When the drawing is lined with threads, it is necessary to fix it with a retainer or hair varnish, and then hide the product with a layer of stabilizer.
- For the final completion of the work, it is chaotic to strain on the sewing machine, the resulting canvas. The distance between the seams is no more than 2 cm, and if the pattern is small, then 1.5 cm and even less.
- The stroke product should be omitted in warm water so that the stabilizer is dissolved.
- After the product is dry, it is necessary to burst the edges of the crochet or handle. If further assembly is planned, the edges can not be processed.
