There are designs of plastic windows (and glazed loggias), which because of their huge sizes during cleaning do not allow to reach their hands to the long corners of the outer surface. Factory mechanical wiper wipers are good, but only for easily accessible areas, and cost money. I had to come up with my version of the "Moir" of windows.
It took:
Slices of plastic from the inner sheat of the old refrigerator, the "xylene" solvent for the manufacture of glue from plastic crumb, the ball from the deodorant, rubber ring, 3 bolts with nuts (for fastening the rotary assembly), rod stainless metal (for fixing in the ball), cutting From a plastic water pipe, a segment of a stainless steel tube, a piece of "knee" from the fishing rod, a piece of gum from the automobile "janitor", epoxy glue.
All sizes except the gland, which must match the ball, are arbitrary. The appearance of the device is presented in photo 1-2.
The sequence of manufacturing the "Moker" windows
- He drilled two holes in the ball opposite each other, based on the diameter of the rod. Inserted the last half into the ball through the holes, one of which was filled with an epoxy for fastening.
- In the lump of gypsum plaster made a ball of hemisphere ball. Having hesitated, poured the shape of a lead.
- The plywood base cut a hole for fixing the segment of a plastic pipe that supports the ball from the bottom. From the second piece of plywood cut the locking overlay.
- He dispelled on a miniature burner cutting out of a plastic pipe and with a lead shaped squeezed the workpiece - the top of the "hinge". The rod from the ball inserted into the tube of stainless steel and poured with epoxy.
- In the "knee" from the fishing rod made a longitudinal incision under a piece of rubber from the "janitor".
So that the fixing screws did not fall out of plastic clamps, the sealing rubber bands are put on their ends.
Advantages \ homemade devices for car wash:
- Hinged knot, allowing to work to work under the desired angle;
- retractable (horizontal plane) rubber wipe opening access to any window zone;
- Use of replaceable lips and removable handles of any length.
Important! On the inside of the base, plastic lining, reinforcement, and the protrusion - to fix the clips of the sponge and the "janitor" to fix clips.
