Method 1
Use a paw with a guide. Some sewing machine models are attached with a special separator with a special separator, which helps to make a perfectly smooth line.
When sewing with such a paw, the fabric places the left of the separator, the needle is installed so that it also passes the left.
In the sewing process, the separator will slide the part from the section and will not give to capture a large width.
Method 2.
If the paws with the separator are not to all sewing machines, then the paw to fit the zipper is easier. With it, it is also easy to sew flat lines.
Align the edge of the detail on the right edge of the foot. The needle is located so that it goes into the grooves of the paws on the right side.
As a result, you can pave a smooth line as close to the edge of the part.
Method 3.
Sewing with a transparent paw for a straight line. Such paws usually already have any marks for which you can navigate when laying direct lines.
But as an additional marker, you can use a piece of colored adhesive tape. Just get it on top to the paw and align the edge of the details at this mark.
In this way, it is convenient to lay lines on different widths from the edge.
Method 4.
Use two paws when laying a double lines. The first line close to the edge is made using a paw with a limiter.
And for the second line, the paw is selected so that the right side of it can be aligned along the edge of the part and in width it reached the place where the second line should be.
Thus, focusing on the right side of the paw, you smoothly pave the second line.
