Each seamstress always remains the patchwork of beautiful fabric. Some of them are excellent quality and pleasant colors, but their size is too small in order to sew something. The output can be manufactured by the subject in patchwork technique, such as a patchwork blanket.
For this blanket, the design of which came up with the needlewoman Valerie Nesbitt from the UK long and narrow loskutka are suitable. In his video, Valerie shows how to make this beautiful thing in just 40 minutes.
Valerie uses a strip of a width of about 6 cm and about a meter. It connects the ends of the strips perpendicular to each other and stitches them together diagonally, cut off the extra edges. This method makes the pattern more interesting and volumetric. As a result of such operations, it turns out a long strip of loskuts (about 30 strips long). This long strip Valerie folds in half and stitches along the edges, getting the item twice as short as the width of the two original stripes. At the end, the edge is cut. This process is repeated until the web width reaches 32 bands. The whole process takes about 40 minutes.
As a result of the work, it turns out a rectangular cloth, from which you can sew a blanket or bedspread. You can only process edges or sew your favorite finish.
