How I sewed skirt-maxi: master class

I took again for sewing! I recently imagined you my latest works. And today I continue to demonstrate your sewing method.

In this publication, I want to tell and show how I sewed myself a skirt-maxi, which is very fashionable this season.

I admit honestly, the fabric bought in Sokond Hend, sometimes there are not bad cuts there. So I took a black batist, somewhere 2 meters, and for a very funny price, in the hryvnia - it is 24 UAH., In rubles - 96 rubles, and $ 3 dollars.

Further we need a rubber thread for belt and uniform folds

In addition, the skirt is not just black, I picked up a beautiful fishing braid of a coffee.

Now proceed to work.

We do not need patterns here, only measurements:

I did everything right on the fabric.

1 Detail - Belt: We take our measure about and divide in half: 94/2 = 46 cm and plus for 4 cm it is 50 cm of the length of the belt under the gum. Then I extire the width of the belt, I have 12 cm somewhere + allowances:

2 Detail: We do, because the skirt is stepped, we make the next step a little more and wider. Width 64 cm Length 20 cm.

3 Detail: Width 72 cm Length 32 cm

4 Detail: Width 90 cm Length 40 cm.

Now we start to sew and handle edges, I perform a special leg and line:

When everyone was sewn, smoothed:

Now proceed to the belt. We take a thread-gum, wrapping it into a slight stretch on the bobbin, we take the usual thread and refuel the machine.

Now the upper part of the belt is processed by an overlocked seam and sweep, we flash the mark.

We draw chalk, which disappears, flat lines along the belt and line in the mark and lines on the front side, so that the rubber band has been in withdrawal.

Now we take the rest of the details and on the line of the seam from the front side to strister one seam for uniform folds:
