- Repair in the bathroom did a year ago, immediately after buying an apartment in a new building. The apartment was purchased without finishing, so everything was in our hands. There was a challenge to create a bathroom, which would not only be functional, but also created the mood every morning. And as it seems to us, we succeeded!
Bathroom with an area of 3.4 m2 (1.57 m * 2.16 m), the height of the ceilings is 2.7 meters. Doorway is located approximately in the middle of the long side. The basis of the floor is a screed with waterproofing, walls - twisted brick partitions, ceiling - concrete.
Together with the apartment we got and a cast-iron bath with a size of 170 * 70 cm, which stood in the middle of the bathroom. It was not possible to move to one of the walls of it (on the greater wall, besides, we have a column), and we have gotten safe from it, selling familiar.
Before you start all the work, we needed to think about what and where to place. The bath decided to put on the left side, the washing machine and furniture with a washbasin - with the right, heated towel rail - over the washing machine.
Now about technical moments. Initially, water and sewage was taken separately under the washbasin, a bath and a washing machine, a heated towel rail was connected. The heated towel rail, by the way, chose the domestic - Gloss & Reiter. The sweller and work and work on its installation cost us approximately 250 dollars.
Next, the electrician layout stage has come. The output of two sockets (under the washing machine and hairdryer) and one switch (for the mirror) cost us $ 50.
Despite the fact that the apartment in a new building, the walls still had to fill a little, again 50 dollars - and the question is resolved.
And now the most creative stage has come - the choice of tiles. There were many salons, went around all the markets, could not decide on the choice for a long time, I wanted something unusual, but for reasonable value. In the next salon, seeing one of the tile collections, we understood - it's her! Collection Tamoe, Paradyz tile (Poland). Combine a lot of elements of the collection helped us designer, completely free. We managed to create an unusual interior without the help of decors, "playing" only with the colors and sizes of the tile, which was much reduced the cost, which was 405 dollars.
Tiler, fortunately, did not have to hire, cost the mastery of her husband. Therefore, we remove this article.
The ceiling stretch (white gloss) went to us as a bonus from the installers, as all the ceilings in the apartment did one smear. Lighting system - dotted lamps. Ventilation system - supply-exhaust, with an electric fan.
The bath clearly wanted the corner, stopped on acrylic. Knowing people suggested the optimal option - Excellent baths (Poland), the size of our bath 150 * 95. Behind the bath and screen we gave $ 450.
Tumba - Belux, Belarusian manufacturer, very decent quality! The cabinet was sold together with a washbasin of artificial marble their own production. Mirror with LED backlight - also their work. The price of the question is 600 dollars.
Armatura faucets (Poland) have more than 8 years old, so we have no doubt about the choice. They gave 150 dollars for them.
