These simple jewelry from ordinary lightning came up with Heidi Fetter and made a good and clear master class on them. It is possible to use sockets in a variety of purposes - to decorate shoes, clothes, you can make a brooch of lightning and other decorations: rims, earrings, bracelets. Invent where to attach such beauty is easy, and it is even easier to do. All you need is:
- Lightning (any color and any size)
- Needle and thread
- Dense base for frame
- hot glue
From lightning along its entire length on both sides, cut the wedroom base so that the fabrics remain just over 5 mm.
Cut from the ends of zipper clasp and clamps
Divide the lightning.
Prepared zipper Bend from one end about 4-5 mm inside and secure a needle with thread.
Wrap the zipper around the horn tip in three rows.
Sust together all rows of lightning, inserting a needle every two teeth. The thread can be moved directly through the teeth of the zipper, but it is necessary to do it carefully, and the thread should be selected in tone of lightning. By the way, it is possible to use for these purposes with a thin line, designed specifically for sewing.
But if you are not sure about your accuracy of your work or you are afraid that the threads will be too visible, do it differently: first display the needle through a couple of rows on the front side of the socket, and then skip the needle to the opposite direction, retreating from the needle outlet to one clove of the zipper. Thus, the thread will be hidden inside the socket, between rows of teeth.
When your zippet from lightning reaches the desired size, cut the residue of the zipper. Tightly enter the end to the outlet.
Make a carcass from a dense basis: cut the circle in size outlets. Stick the base on hot glue to the back of the socket. As a dense base, you can use pieces of skin, plastic, sail, etc.
