Architect Laura Jane Clark bought an old abandoned underground toilet in London and transformed it into a luxurious accommodation that was not reminded of his past.
So he looked at the beginning. These are men's cabins, more precisely, what was in their place.
Entrance to the toilet itself.
Marginal individuals did not stop shroud here and after closing the toilet.
The sign informing that the toilet is closed and the nearest can be found on the next street.
View from the entrance.
In the opposite direction.
Repair started, all the walls between the cabins and the racks for urinal are demolished.
Stage of finishing, walls are placed, ready wall of the future room.
This looks like the entrance to the housing now (right with arch and gate). Nothing says that it was a toilet
It turned out a very cozy dwelling. This is a living room.
Kitchen.
Kitchen on the opposite side.
Bedroom.
Bathroom.
Would you like to live in such a former public toilet?)
