Since I had a dark cover of notebook, then I wrapping it with ordinary office paper so that the dark color did not transform through the future cover. It is not necessary to glue paper tightly, slightly fix it with an adhesive pencil.
Then we cut the rectangle from the subtle synthebone exactly in the size of the cover and fix it with the help of bilateral scotch.
Of the fabric you like, we cut a rectangle so that there are breakup of about two centimeters from the edge of the cover.
On bilateral scotch, first fix the upper corners, bending them at an angle of 45 degrees.
Then we fee and fix the top edge of the cover.
Next, we also fend up the bottom edge, slightly pulling the fabric, and only after that we sweep the sides.

Then we flash the cover on the sewing machine around the perimeter with a viscosity of 0.5 cm from the edge. I will explain: the sewing machine without difficulty takes even a very dense cardboard, without harm to its mechanisms, proven on personal experience.
Here you will have small difficulties: when you will approach the places where the rings are located, they will interfere with you lay the line. To get out of this situation, I turned the cover on the wrong one, paved the line with a needle without threads and then shouted the cover in hard-to-reach places with a manual line.
Go to the decor. On ordinary paper, draw a layout of the future element and translate it to the design paper.
Send the decorative element to the bottom edge of the cover also with the sewing machine.
We glue the decorative napkin on top.
